聚焦中印文化交流｜扬州和韵艺术团拜访印度驻沪总领事馆|中印文化|和韵艺术团|扬州市|表演团|驻沪总领事馆

大运河传媒讯（徐蓉）为进一步推进即将在印度开启的“世界与我们：中国节-印度站”文化交流活动，深化中印民间友好往来，8月13日，扬州和韵艺术团一行应邀赴印度驻沪总领事馆，拜访总领事普拉提克・马图尔，并与领事乌文杰、高志远展开座谈交流。

受江苏省人民对外友好协会委托，应印度 CD 基金会邀请，扬州和韵艺术团将于8月17日至27日赴印度开展全方位、多层次的友好交流。和韵艺术团始终秉持“运河情、中国风、扬州味”的理念，汇聚艺术家、非遗传承人、国家一级演员及各领域专家，致力于以民间艺术讲好中国故事。

此次出访，创新设立了艺术团、厨师表演团、商务团三个团体，带来文艺演出、淮扬美食品鉴与经贸对接三位一体的“艺术 +”新模式，力求通过文化共鸣、味觉体验与务实合作，多维度展现中华文化的温度与活力。

正值印度迎来独立 80 周年，并筹备举办具有里程碑意义的金砖国家峰会，总领事普拉提克・马图尔表示，期待青年艺术家与学者们在这场深度探访“不可思议的印度”的旅程中收获丰富体验，进一步巩固印中两国人文交流与文化纽带。

座谈中，扬州和韵艺术团联合创始人、顾问，扬州市外办前主任邓清向领事介绍了扬州与印度的深厚交往渊源。她表示，扬州与印度的友好交流由来已久，早在2016年，扬州就成功举办了“丝路美食扬州汇暨印度周”活动，同年还举办了中国（扬州）- 印度创新与商务合作论坛，一系列活动为两地深化各领域合作打下了坚实基础。

邓清进一步介绍，此次随团出访的扬州院子·淮扬土菜庭院餐厅大厨，将作为厨师表演团的核心成员，为印度民众现场制作扬州包子、扬州炒饭等独具特色的淮扬美食，以舌尖上的文化拉近两国民众距离。同时，她还希望总领馆能够牵线搭桥，推荐印度本土餐厅与扬州院子结为友好伙伴，共建中印美食交流基地，推动两地美食文化常态化互动。

谈及扬州美食，领事乌文杰格外有共鸣。他分享自己曾到访过扬州，对扬州深厚的盐商文化印象深刻，也十分喜爱扬州炒饭等美食。他期待和韵艺术团此次印度之行，也能深入发掘印度本土美食的特色，以美食为媒促进两地文化互鉴。

扬州和韵艺术团团长蒋毅表示，中印同为文明古国，文化交相辉映。此行不仅是展示，更是学习；不仅是交流，更期待合作。艺术团愿做中印友谊的铺路石，以艺术为桥、以美食为媒、以诚意为本，促进民心相通，推动民间友好持续深化。

Great Canal Media News (Xu Rong) In order to further promote the cultural exchange event “The World with Us: China Festival – India Station” which will take place in India, and to strengthen the friendly relations between China and India, on August 13, the Yangzhou Heyun Art Troupe was invited to visit the Indian Consulate General in Shanghai. They met with Consul General Platek Matur, and had discussions with Consuls Uwenjie and Gao Zhiyuan.

At the request of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Foreign Friendship Association and upon invitation from the Indian CD Foundation, the Yangzhou Heyun Art Troupe will travel to India from August 17 to 27 to carry out comprehensive and multi-level friendly exchanges. Adhering to the concept of “ canals, Chinese style, Yangzhou flavor”, the troupe brings together artists, inheritors of traditional crafts, national first-class actors, and experts from various fields, aiming to tell Chinese stories through folk art.

During this visit, three groups were established: an art troupe, a chef performance group, and a business group. These groups will offer artistic performances, food tasting events from Huaiyang cuisine, and economic cooperation opportunities – creating a new model of “art” that combines these elements. The goal is to showcase the warmth and vitality of Chinese culture through cultural resonance, taste experiences, and practical cooperation.

As India celebrates its 80th anniversary of independence and prepares for the historic BRICS Summit, Consul General Platek Matur expressed his hope that young artists and scholars will gain valuable experiences during this trip to “incredible India”, thereby further strengthening the cultural and diplomatic ties between China and India.

During the discussion, Deng Qingxiang, co-founder and advisor of the Yangzhou Heyun Art Troupe, and former director of the Yangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, introduced the long-standing relationship between Yangzhou and India. She said that friendly exchanges between the two cities have a history going back to 2016, when Yangzhou successfully organized the “Silk Road Food Fair in Yangzhou and India Week” event. In the same year, the China (Yangzhou) - India Innovation and Business Cooperation Forum was held, and these activities laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Deng Qingxiang also mentioned that the chefs from Yangzhou Yayaer · Huaiyang Tuica Courtyard Restaurant, who are part of the chef performance group, will prepare unique Huaiyang dishes such as Yangzhou buns and fried rice for the Indians, thereby bringing people from both countries closer through food. She also hoped that the consulate could facilitate arrangements for local Indian restaurants to become friendly partners with Yangzhou Yayaer, so that a food exchange base can be established, enabling regular interaction between the two regions’ culinary cultures.

Regarding Yangzhou cuisine, Consul Uwenjie felt particularly connected. He shared that he had visited Yangzhou before and was impressed by the salt merchant culture there. He also really liked Huaiyang fried rice and other dishes. He expected that the trip to India would allow the Heyun Art Troupe to explore the characteristics of Indian cuisine, using food as a medium to promote cultural exchange between the two countries.

Jiang Yi, head of the Yangzhou Heyun Art Troupe, said that both China and India are ancient civilizations with rich cultures that complement each other. This trip is not just about showcasing, but also about learning; it’s not just about exchanging, but also about cooperation. The art troupe aims to be a bridge between China and India, using art, food, and honesty to promote mutual understanding and continuous development of friendly relations between the two nations.
