Tex and Indi were playing catch

with their mom in the park.

泰克斯和英蒂在公园里和

他们的妈妈一起玩接球的游戏。

‘Throw the ball here!’ called Mom.

“把球扔过来!”妈妈喊到。

Indi threw the ball.

英蒂把球抛出。

‘Oops!’ she said.

“糟糕!”她说。

The ball sailed across the field.

球直接飞过了场地。

‘I’ll get it!’ Tex said,

running toward the ball.

“我去接!”泰克斯边说边跑向球。

But Tex didn’t get it.

但是泰克斯并没有接到。

A big yellow dog did!

一只大黄狗接到了!

Then he wagged his tail

and ran away.

然后它摇着尾巴跑开了。

‘Hey!’ Tex called,

running after the dog.

“嘿!”泰克斯追着大黄狗叫到。

‘You come back here!’

“快回来!”

Wait!’ called Mom.

“等一下!”妈妈喊到。

‘It’s not a good idea to runafterdogs, een if they seem friendly.’

“追着狗跑不是一个好主意,

即使它们看上去很友好。”

‘But what about our ball?’said Indi.

“但是我们的球怎么办?”英蒂说。

Just then, the dog’s ownerhurried oer.

就在这时,那只狗的主人急急忙忙地赶过来了。

‘Sorry about that,’ she said.

“非常抱歉。”她说。

‘Rusty loes playing ball

so much, sometimes he

joins in the game before

he’s inited. Drop it, Rusty!’

“路斯特非常喜欢玩球,

有时在被邀请前,

它会自己加入游戏。

放下球,路斯特!”

‘Thank you,’ said Mom.

“谢谢您。”妈妈说。

‘Is it safe for us to pet your dog?’

“我们跟您的狗玩儿安全吗?”

‘Sure!’ said the woman.

“当然!”那位女士说。

‘Thanks for asking. He loes kids.’

“谢谢您的提问。它喜爱孩子。”

‘Next time we’ll inite him to play,too,’said Indi.

“下次我们也会邀请它一起玩耍。”英蒂说。
