作者简介
迪伦·托马斯（Dylan Thomas，1914.10.27 －1953.11.9)，英国威尔士诗人。出生于威尔士的斯旺西。父亲是学校的英文教师，迪伦从中学时代就显露出诗歌天分，毕业后当了报社记者。出版了一系列诗集，也从事剧本和小说创作。1950-1953年间三度前往美国。于1953年在纽约病逝。国摇滚巨星鲍勃·迪伦(Bob Dylan)本名叫做Robert Allen Zimmerman，因为他由衷的崇拜着大洋彼岸的迪伦·托马斯（Dylan Thomas），所以把自己的姓改为了迪伦。他的女儿艾洛维·托马斯（Aeronwy Thomas）和意大利诗人莉迪亚·基亚雷利（Lidia Chiarelli）共同创立了想象与诗歌文学艺术运动（Immagine&Poesia Art Literary Movement）。

She who was who I hold, the fats and the flower,
Or, water-lammed, from the scythe-sided thorn,
Hell wind and sea,
A stem cementing, wrestled up the tower,
Rose maid and male,
Or, master venus, through the paddler’s bowl
Sailed up the sun;
Who is my grief,
A chrysalis unwrinkling on the iron,
Wrenched by my fingerman, the leaden bud
Shot through the leaf,
Was who was folded on the rod the aaron
Road east to plague,
The horn and ball of water on the frog
Housed in the side.
And she who lies,
Like exodus a chapter from the garden,
Brand of the lily’s anger on her ring,
Tugged through the days
Her ropes of heritage, the wars of pardon,
On field and sand

Across the Eurasian continent
The land is covered in violets
From Europe at sunset to Asia at sunrise
The name is Wales, the name is the Xiongnu,
Either the Scythians or the Khitans,
Dragging out a rainbow of seven colors
The Western Venus will smile
Or shed tears at Eastern Venus in the sky
We marched all the way
Half is killing on the ground
Half is loving in the sky
Rose lady Meets Horse knight
Western Venus is a stunning painting
Eastern Venus decends as poet Li Bai
Lying drunk on the endless violet grass
I said, look at the sparkling dewdrops at the end of the violet
You said it was the moonlit tears at the end of eyelash
Beautiful moments were crushed by a huge empire in the blink of an eye
Genghis Khan's iron horse steps over the curved back of the Rose Lady
Queen Victoria's fleet crosses the fastest horse of golden knights
Love and hate have all passed away
Poetry and painting are always lost
Only the tears at the end of the violet are left to tell
