尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们：

Dear teachers and classmates：

大家早上好！今天，我们站在这庄严的国旗下，想和大家分享一个关于“伟大的母亲”的话题。

Good morning everyone! Today, we would like to share with you a topic about "the great mother".

母亲，是我们生命中最伟大的人。她给予我们生命，抚养我们成长，教会我们如何做人。我想分享一个关于我母亲的故事，来展现母亲的伟大。

Mother is the greatest person in our lives. I want to share a story about my mother to showcase her greatness.

记得去年冬天，流感肆虐，我发烧好几天不见好转，输液时还产生了过敏反应。妈妈担心极了，连夜带我去住院。在医院里妈妈给我喂饭、擦身体降温、叫医生换液。那段时间，医院里满是生病的孩子。我躺在医院过道里一张窄小的病床上，妈妈连坐的地方都没有。晚上我反复高烧，妈妈不断地给我测体温，喂我退烧药。我因为发烧说胡话时，妈妈心疼地流下了泪水，妈妈就这样熬了一宿。

Last winter, I was hospitalized due to a serious illness. During that time, my mother stayed by my bed day and night. Seeing my mother's tired figure, I feel very sad in my heart, but I know that she can give everything for me.

过了几天，我康复回家了，妈妈却发烧病倒了。妈妈是因为我才累倒的，我深深地感受到了母爱的伟大和无私。

After a few days, I recovered and went home, but my mother fell ill with a fever. and I deeply felt the greatness and selflessness of my mother’s love.

同学们，母爱如同一座山，无论风吹雨打，都屹立不倒；母爱如同一缕阳光，无论寒冬酷暑，都温暖如初。她为我们付出了太多，却从不求回报。

mother's love is selfless and great. They have given us too much, and we should cherish this love and repay it. Let us use a grateful heart to thank our mothers for their nurturing.

那么，我们该如何回报母亲的恩情呢？其实，回报母爱并不需要华丽的言辞和昂贵的礼物，它只需要我们用心去做到一些简单而实在的事情。

So, how can we repay our mother's kindness? In fact, it only requires us to do some simple things with our hearts.

我们要对母亲保持礼貌和尊重，用真诚的话语和行动表达我们的感激和爱意。当母亲忙碌时，我们可以主动帮忙做家务，分担她的辛劳；当母亲疲惫时，我们可以为她捶捶背、倒杯水，让她感受到我们的关心。

We should respect our mother and express our gratitude and love through actions. When our mother is busy, we can help her to do some housework. When she is tired, we can beat her back and pour her a glass of water, making her feel our care.

我们还要努力学习，取得优异的成绩，让母亲为我们感到骄傲和自豪。同时，我们还要关注自己的健康，保持良好的生活习惯，不让母亲为我们担忧。

We also need to work hard to study and achieve excellent results. At the same time, we also need to pay attention to our health and not let our mothers worry about us.

古人云：“百善孝为先。”孝道是中华民族的传统美德，也是我们每个人应该铭记于心的道德准则。让我们从现在做起，从点滴小事做起，用实际行动去践行孝道，去回报母亲的养育之恩。

Filial piety is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, and we should all keep it in our hearts. Let's start from now, from small things, and repay our mother's nurturing kindness with actions.
