尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：

Dear teachers and classmates:

我们是203班的于博雅和许梦琳。今天，我们聚集在国旗下，共同探讨一个至关重要的话题——安全。

Good morning, everyone! We are Elsa and Tina from Class203. Our topic today is safety.

安全，这个看似简单却意义深远的词语，承载着我们对生命的尊重和珍视。它如同一道坚固的防线，守护着我们的成长之路，确保我们能够在阳光下自由奔跑，在知识的海洋中畅快遨游。

Safety is a simple but a meaningful word. It reflects our respect and cherishment for life. It protects the way of our growth. Safety makes sure that we can run freely in the sunshine and travel in the ocean of knowledge happily.

生活中，我们时常听到或看到关于安全事故的报道。这些事故或源于疏忽大意，或源于无知无畏，但无论何种原因，它们都给我们敲响了警钟。据相关数据显示，全国中小学生因安全事故、食物中毒、溺水等原因死亡的人数，每天平均有40多人。这些冰冷的数字背后，是一个个鲜活生命的逝去，是一个个家庭的破碎。因此，我们必须将安全牢记心间，时刻警惕潜在的危险。

In our daily life, we usually hear about some accident news.The news reminds us the importance of safety. According to the data，the average number of people who die of safety problems is up to 40 everyday. This is a horrible thing. As a result,We should keep safety in mind and be alert to danger all the time.

在学校，我们要遵守校规校纪，注意课间活动的安全。课间休息时，避免追逐打闹和进行危险的游戏；上下楼梯时，要轻声慢步靠右行，防止踩踏事故的发生。同时，我们还要注意用电安全，不乱动电源插座和电器设备，发现电器损坏后及时向老师报告。

At school, we should follow the school rules. Don't run in the hallway or play dangerous games during the breaks. Keep right when going up and down the stairs to stay safe. Keep away from the electricity.

在家里，我们也要时刻保持安全意识。不玩火、不接触有毒及易燃易爆物品；不随意触碰电源和带电电器；不私自外出，不听信陌生人话，防止被绑架、拐骗和走失。此外，我们还要注意食品安全，不食用过期和变质的食品，严防食物中毒。

At home, we should also keep a sense of safety. Be away from fire and electricity;Don't go out without permission;Don't listen to strangers. Besides, We should also pay attention to food safety to prevent food poisoning.

在出行时，交通安全更是重中之重。我们要遵守交通规则，红灯停、绿灯行；不在公路上玩耍、奔跑和嬉戏打闹；骑车时要佩戴头盔，不骑快车、不搭肩并行；乘坐公共交通时，要排队等候、先下后上，不将头手伸出窗外。

When we go out,the traffic safety is important. We should follow the traffic rules.Don't play on the street. When we ride bikes, a helmet is necessary. When we take the public transport, please stand in line and follow the safety rules.

除了以上几点，我们还要关注网络安全、心理健康安全等方面。不进入游戏室、网吧等场所；不随意透露个人信息；遇到困难和挫折时，要勇敢面对、积极寻求帮助。

What's more, we should pay attention to the Internet security and mental health.Whenever we face difficulities, we should face them bravely and ask for help in time.

老师们、同学们，安全无小事，生命诚珍贵。让我们携手并进，将安全牢记心间，共同营造一个和谐、平安的校园环境。让我们在国旗下共同祝愿，祝愿我们每天平平安安到学校高高兴兴回家去；祝愿我们的生活处处开满安全之花！

Nothing is more important than safety and lives. Let's join hands and work hard together to make a peaceful and safe campus.Wish all of us go to school safely and go home happily. May our lives be filled with the flowers of security.
