安东尼奥·洛佩兹·加西亚

Antonio Lopez-Garcia

1936年1月6日出生于西班牙托梅略索的小镇雷亚尔城。父亲继承祖业，同当时的大多数居民一样，种植葡萄和小麦。叔父安东尼奥·洛佩斯·托雷斯是一位时运不济的优秀画家，他发现了侄子的天赋，并成为他的启蒙老师，对其成长产生了极大的影响。1949年，年仅13岁的洛佩斯，在叔父的鼓励下，并得到父母的支持，只身赴马德里学画，并于次年考入圣费尔南多高等美术学院（马德里美术学院）学到1955年毕业。

洛佩斯初登艺坛，便不同凡响；到六十年代后期，更是引起欧美普遍的重视。时至今日，洛佩斯已被公认为世界艺坛具象界的一位杰出代表。

洛佩斯选择具象绘画的道路，用他自己的话说，是“命中注定”，是“命运”。

西班牙优秀艺术传统对洛佩斯潜移默化的强大影响，是不可估量的。这一影响尤其是通过他的叔父对他进行的艺术启蒙教育，而变得格外直接和具体。他把叔父强调“要想大自然学习”的教诲奉为座右铭。在他学习艺术的五十年代，西班牙虽然在弗朗哥统治下，并不具备北邻法国的那种艺术创造自由，但是，抽象艺术及其它种种非造型形式语言毕竟流行开来。巴塞罗那的“骰子第七面”和北方的“阿尔塔米拉派”两个著名团体，便是在这样的背景上产生。

洛佩斯的面前，存在着不同选择和发展的可能性。他毅然选择了具象道路，因为他感到自己对其它种种造型手段有一种本能的抵触，觉得格格不入，无从借助于它们表达自己的意象。他也看到，在“新潮”面前作独立思考并持相同见解的人并不少见。于是在美术学院学习期间，他便和四五位志趣相投的学友结成一个小团体，称“马德里写实小组”，有别于“骰子第七面”和“阿尔塔米拉派”。但是，他们的小组是一个松散的同路人组织，并没有明确的艺术主张，不久便出现分化，有人转向非具象艺术——洛佩斯的好友卢西奥·穆尼奥斯（Lucio Munoz）转而从事抽象探索。
