如果要用英语请人帮忙，很多人肯定会第一时间想到“can you help me?”。这句话是用在请求别人帮忙时，比较基础也比较正式的询问方式。但其实口语中还有一些其他更常见的表达方式，常常用在熟人之间，请求别人帮忙或者表达需要帮助的说法。

give sb a hand逐字翻译是“给谁一只手”的意思，也就是帮助别人，在句子中也可以说为lend a hand。

do sb a good turn和do sb a favor格式相同，但是相比较起来do sb a favor使用更多。

My neighbor did me a good turn by lending me his car.

My father is very nice person. He is ready to do a good turn for anyone.

我爸是一个非常好的人。他非常乐于帮助别人。
