如今，去餐厅吃饭是一件再平常不过的事了。不知你有没有想过，餐厅是如何登上历史舞台的？

中世纪的旅人们怎么也想不到，有一天食客竟然能「当家做主」左右大厨的烹饪选择。肉汤店「Restaurant」的老板怎么也想不到，他的店名竟然阴差阳错地成为了英文中对「餐厅」的称呼。
