“全职爸爸”是指“生活重心以料理家务、照顾子女的父亲”，因为基本全天在家，stay-at-home，所以在英文当中就被称为：stay-at-home dad,也可以直接说成是full-time father, full-time就是“全职”的意思，a stay-at-home dad is a father who is the main caregiver of the children and is generally the homemaker of the household.

我们在读这句话的时候要注意，stay和at这两个单词可以连读读成stay at, at的尾音/t/因为后面接的是其他辅音，所以可以失音爆破不发出来，读成stay-at-home.
