1.China has unveiled a plan outlining major targets for transportation network development in the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) . Cities will see 72% of buses running on new energy , an improvement from 66.2%, and the carbon dioxide emission intensity of the transportation sector will be decreased by 5%, per the document released by the State Council.

2.More efforts are needed to foster a green and low-carbon way of transport, step up green infrastructural development, promote new energy, smart, digital and light-weight transport equipment, and encourage and advocate green travel , to make transport and travel more environment-friendly and low-carbon.
