“2022软科世界一流学科排名”近日发布，宁波诺丁汉大学（简称“宁诺”）工商管理、管理学、机械工程和电力电子工程四个学科上榜，位列中外合作大学第二位。

其中，工商管理和管理学已连续三年上榜，排名领跑中外合作大学；机械工程和电力电子工程两个学科则是首次入围榜单。

■ 软科是世界公认的三大最具影响力的高等教育排名和评价机构之一。其发布的2022年世界一流学科排名覆盖54个学科，涉及了理学、工学、生命科学、医学和社会科学五大领域。全球5000余所大学被纳入排名考量，最终共有来自96个国家和地区的1800余所高校跻身各学科全球前500名榜单。

软科世界一流学科排名采用了国际可比的客观学术指标对全球大学在相关学科的表现进行衡量，考核指标囊括高水平科研产出、科研影响力和国际论文合作等。入围该榜单标志着宁诺在相关学科领域里的学术水平和科研质量位居国内高校第一梯队，也处于全球领先水平。

根据排名数据显示，宁诺的四个上榜学科在国际合作论文比例和论文影响力方面表现出众。其中，工商管理的论文标准化影响力获得91.1分，居全国（包含港澳台地区）第一；机械工程和电力电子工程领域的论文在标准化影响力方面比肩甚至超过中国顶尖大学C9联盟。在国际合作论文比例这一指标上，管理学、机械工程和电力电子工程三个学科，则分别以90.9、87.8和93.1的高分，稳居全国（包含港澳台地区）第一。

2021年，宁诺教师共发表科研论文778篇，其中44.5%的论文发表于全球排名前10%的期刊，70.8%的论文发表于全球排名前25%的期刊；高水平论文占比高，被引用次数排在全球前10%的论文占到19.8%；65.7%的学术论文与海外高校合作发表。

在科研产出的标准化影响力上，工商管理和管理学所在的商学院，及机械工程和电力电子工程所在的理工学院，期刊的加权影响因子均高达1.87，高于中国顶尖大学C9联盟的平均水平1.2，比肩加州理工学院、清华大学、北京大学等国内外顶尖学府。

近年来，宁波诺丁汉大学依托英国诺丁汉大学优质科教资源，不断探索发展，面向全球引进高水平人才，开展前沿的科学研究，从而整体带动学科建设。

学校学术教师来自全球70多个国家与地区，其中60%以上为外籍教师。2021年，宁诺10名学者入选由美国斯坦福大学发布的“全球前2%顶尖科学家名单”，学科范围涵盖信息系统、工业工程、工商管理、纳米技术、材料学等多个领域。2022年，宁诺12名学者入榜爱斯维尔发布的“2021中国高被引学者”榜单，入榜数位列中外合作大学首位。

汇聚顶尖人才，赋能科研攻坚。海归学者张何教授领衔的与中国商飞和中航工业合作完成的国产大飞机CR929直流起发系统为国产大飞机装上了“金色动力”。由宁波诺丁汉大学参与研究的1.5T无液氦低温超导磁共振成像系统成为宁波历史上第一个获批的国家级三类创新医疗器械，也是世界原创首台。该创新研究让磁共振成像摆脱稀有资源液氦的依赖，让多姿态扫描磁共振检查走进现实，助力在血流灌注、脊柱成像等领域的临床研究，助推未来移动医疗的发展。

前沿的科学研究也推动了高质量的教学发展、促进了学科建设。截至目前，宁波诺丁汉大学工程学科进入全球ESI前0.5%，社会科学总论进入ESI全球前1%。宁诺近半数本科专业被评为国家级或省级“一流”本科专业建设点。理工类专业均获得国际专业协会的认证，宁诺商学院获得全球只有不到6%的商学院持有的AACSB认证，以及国际上另一权威认证——欧洲质量改进体系（EQUIS）认证。

未来，宁波诺丁汉大学将继续聚焦学科高质量发展，使中国学生能以较低的成本接受世界优质高等教育。

Four UNNC subjects listed among world’s top academic subjects

The 2022 Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) was recently released. The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has four subjects listed in the ranking this year – Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering – achieving an all-time high record.

Among them, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering made the list for the first time this year, while Management (Top 31) and Business Administration (Top 15) have been listed in the ranking for three years. Compared with other Sino-foreign universities, UNNC is placed second in terms of the number of subjects ranked and leads the way in the ranking performance of Management and Business Administration.

The Shanghai Ranking is widely considered as one of the three most influential university ranking and evaluation institutions in the world. Its 2022 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) covers 54 disciplines and more than 1,800 of 5,000 universities worldwide are listed. The Rankings use a range of objective academic indicators to measure the performance of world universities in relevant subjects, including research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality, and international academic awards. Being listed in the GRAS demonstrates UNNC’s leading position among global universities in terms of academic excellence and research quality in the subject areas.

In the subjects of Business Administration, UNNC tops the list for research influence among Chinese universities (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) with a high score of 91.1. In terms of international collaboration, UNNC is placed first among Chinese universities (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) in the subjects of Management, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with high scores of 90.9, 87.8 and 93.1.

According to the Scopus research database, 44.5% of publications from UNNC in 2021 were published in the top 10% journals by CiteScore, and 70.8% were in the top 25% journals. In addition, 19.8% of publications from UNNC were in the top 10% most-cited publications worldwide, and 65.7% involve international collaboration with other global academic institutions. The Field-Weighted Citation Impact was 1.5, unparalleled by the C9 League.

In recent years, UNNC has continued to develop and evolve because of the high-quality education resources of the University of Nottingham. The university has recruited high-level talent from around the world to carry out cutting-edge scientific research, thereby driving its overall discipline development.

At present, UNNC has an advanced and international teaching team, which consists of academic staff from over 70 countries and regions around the world, of which 60% are from overseas. In 2021, 10 UNNC academics appeared on a Stanford University ranking list of the top 2% scientists in the world. The academics shortlisted are from multiple fields such as information systems, industrial engineering, business administration, nanotechnology, and material science. In 2022, UNNC had 12 scholars who were listed in the "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2021" released by Elsevier, ranking first among Sino-foreign universities.

Empowered by the world’s top talent, UNNC’s research power has grown dramatically, and made an impact home and abroad. UNNC Power Electronics and Electrical Drive Research Group has developed a high-power rating DC Starter/Generator system for airplane engines with improved efficiency and reduced weight. The world’s first cryogen-free MRI scanner co-developed by UNNC has been granted for listing on market, which lays a solid foundation for the technological advances in multi-pose MRI scanning techniques and addresses the global shortage in helium resources.

Quality research supports teaching excellence. Up to now, the discipline of Engineering in UNNC has hit the top 0.5% in the ESI report, while Social Science has ranked in the top 1% in ESI. Eight engineering and two science undergraduate programmes in the Faculty of Science and Engineering have received international accreditations. Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China) has also joined the top tier of world business schools that hold EQUIS and AACSB accreditations.

In the future, UNNC will continue to focus on the development of academic subjects, delivering competitive and high-quality international education for Chinese students.
