The Significance of Focusing on the College Students' Mental Health Problems
In recent years, as the social economy improves by leaps and bounds, College Students' Mental Health Problems are dramatically increasing, which has turned into a more extensive and severe problem in society. The emergence of College Students' Mental Health Problems has severely affected college students' moral education teaching and hindered students' blossom and growth. As a consequence, university educators should be attentive to the mental health problems of college students, so as to improve the level of students' psychological quality, strengthen the courage of learning to face difficulties and setbacks, promote the effective construction of the harmony of students and campus and students' psychology, and then enhance students' comprehensive quality. Accordingly, I argue that modern university educators should recognize the significance of college students' mental health education and do their utmost in improving the teaching effect and promoting the development of college students' moral education.
First and foremost, the most essential thing for teachers is to scientifically and reasonably ask for psychological counseling for students, so that students can face up to their psychological situation and understand themselves properly and comprehensively in the process of counseling in an effort to make effective changes. In addition, every university campus has a psychological counseling room. Teachers should guide students to the college students' psychological counseling room for counseling and let the teachers there give professional opinions with the aim of promoting students' physical and mental health.
Furthermore, the lectures on mental health education should be actively conducted in universities, for the sake of teaching students professional knowledge an theory, understanding professional methods to adjust, which can enable students to carry out self-regulation and promote the improvement of students' psychological self-regulation ability. Additionally, in the process of mental health lectures in universities, the groups faced are not only students but also teachers. In the teaching process of college students, teachers' mental health education can seriously influence students' psychological status. For instance, some teachers fiercely accuse students and say insulting words in the process of psychological education or teaching, which severely affects students' self-esteem and is not conducive to the development of students' mental health.
Last but not least, educators should build up the cultural construction of the university, guide students' active participation through rich and diverse activities, and let students enrich their life, so as to promote students to express their inner depression, and then improve students' mental health. Teachers should positively guide students to join the Student Union and various clubs of the university, promote students to actively participate in various activities and let students build a harmonious interpersonal relationship in the process of activities on behalf of realizing students' mental health. Besides, it helps to build a positive campus environment through rich and colorful activities lest students can study and live happily in this comfortable, mutual understanding and inclusive environment in the cause of promoting students' personalized development and the realization of students' mental health.
All in all, the mental health problem of college students is a problem faced by educators at present. From my perspective, in university teaching, teachers effectively practice mental health education by scientifically and reasonably guiding students to carry out psychological counseling, universities actively conduct mental health education lectures and shine a spotlight on the construction of campus culture for purpose of promoting students to actively face life and grow into excellent socialist successors.
