今年的德国电影展将于12月9日在北京开幕，2022年是中德建交50周年，类型多样的文化交流活动在今年陆续展开，德国电影展也在这个特殊的年份迎来了自己的第十年。我们抱着十年如一日的热忱，期待在这个冬天与影迷朋友们再次相会。本届影展，提名柏林国际电影节金熊奖，并荣获最佳主角、最佳剧本两座银熊奖的《库尔纳兹诉小布什》（Rabiye Kurnaz gegen George W. Bush）将作为开幕片率先登上银幕，同时包括在柏林国际电影节上进行首映的纪录电影《爱、马克与死亡》（Love, Deutschmark and Death）等各类优秀影片。

十年以来，我们致力于挑选当年最新最优秀的德国电影，德国电影展共计展映了129部影片（影院展映单元及特别放映单元），影片类型多样，包含了剧情片、纪录片、喜剧、惊悚、实验影像、互动电影等。电影节以准同步的方式，将一批又一批在国际上备受好评的影片带给中国观众。去年，影展带来了获得当年柏林国际电影节银熊奖的《定制男友》（I’m Your Man）。同时，也有很多知名导演及青年导演及演员来过中国介绍他们的作品，其中有《铁皮鼓》的导演沃尔克·施隆多夫（Volker Schlöndorff）、德国著名女性导演桃丽丝·多利（Doris Dörrie）、新生代演员乔尔·巴斯曼（Joel Basman）、《凭空而来》（In the Fade）的演员亨宁·佩克（Henning Peker）。同时，影展也曾邀请到贾樟柯、赵涛、王景春、王学兵、张雨绮、王全安作为电影展大使，加强中德电影的文化交流。

本届德国电影展由德国电影协会主办，北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）和百老汇影城协办，并得到了德国大使馆的支持。今年，德国电影展将继续为电影人们搭建对话的平台，让不同的声音在此交流汇聚，为中国观众带来在各类影展和欧洲市场上有亮眼表现的德片佳作。

We are delighted to announce that the 2022 Festival of German Cinema in China will be held in Beijing from December 9th to 18th 2022. As the year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and China, a variety of cultural exchange activities are taking place this year. In the meantime, the festival is also celebrating its 10th eidition. We very much look forward to meeting our audience again this winter with the same enthusiasm they have had for last ten years. This year, Rabiye Kurnaz Gegen George W. Bush, which was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival and won two Silver Bears for Best Actor and Best Screenplay, will be the first film to hit the screen as the opening film, as well as other outstanding films such as the documentary Love, Mark and Death, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Over the past ten years, the Festival of German Cinema in China has presented a total of 129 films (cinema screenings and special screenings) covering diverse genres, including drama, documentary, comedy, thrillers, experimental film and interactive film. We are dedicated to selecting the newest and most acclaimed German films of the last year and bringing them to the Chinese audience in a quasi-simultaneous manner. Last year, the festival brought I'm Your Man, which won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, to the Chinese audience. Besides screening the films, we have also invited German talent to meet the audience in person, including big names such as filmmaker Volker Schlöndorff, female director Dorris Dörrie, emerging actor Joel Basman, well-known actor Henning Peker etc. Past editions of the festival had also invited Jia Zhangke, Zhao Tao, Wang Jingchun, Wang Xuebing, Zhang Yuqi, Wang Quan'an, as festival ambassadors to strengthen the cultural exchange between Chinese and German cinema.

The Festival of German Cinema in China is organized by German Films together with co-organizers, the Goethe-Institut China and Broadway Cinema. The festival is supported by the German Embassy in China, Beijing. This year, the festival will continue to build a platform for dialogue among filmmakers, allowing different voices to converge and bringing to Chinese audiences the best German films that have performed well at various film festivals around the world.
