如果你看到take the floor这个表达，你会怎么翻译？

听到有同学翻译成“拿起地板”，有人干脆翻译成“坐在地上”，对吗？错了！老外会被你逗笑的。

原来take the floor的意思是：“(在辩论或讨论中) 发言，给予…发言权”，也可以理解成“起立发言”，和“地板”没有什么关系。
