Hello! My name is Amelia and

I have something important to tell you.

Shhh! It’s a secret

so you mustn’t tell anyone

in the whole world…OK?

Look!

There’s a dinosaur

in my bathtub.

Bonjour!

His name is Pierre and

he comes from France.

你看！

我的浴缸里有只恐龙。

大家好！

他的名字叫皮埃尔，

来自法国。

Having a dinosaur in your bathtub can be rather tricky.

Pierre has to hide every time Mum needs to wash her hair,

or Dad needs the loo, or Wrinkles needs to be hosed down.

It’s not easy being inconspicuous (that means being almost invisible)

when you are a big green French dinosaur with a curly black moustache.

But, thankfully, Pierre is very good at hiding.

有一只恐龙在你的浴缸里是相当棘手的。

每当妈妈需要洗头，

爸爸需要上厕所，或者需要洗脸的时候，

皮埃尔都得躲起来。

当你是一只留着卷曲的黑胡子的绿色法国大恐龙时，

In fact, Pierre is SO good at hiding,

that no one can see him.

Nobody, that is, except ME!

Every Tuesday, we travel to the moon

and drink hot galactic chocolate

with marshmallow stars.

we have a giant ice cream after tea.

When it rains, we don’t mind.

We stay indoors and dance upside down

to the tune of Pierre’s magic violin.

And when it’s sunny,

we sail on our bathtub boat

to magical lands…

Land ahoy!

Lands where the trees are made from candy floss and where you can

be taken on a sweetie tasting tour by a jelly bear in a cowboy hat.

那里的树是用棉花糖做成的，

你可以在一个戴着牛仔帽的果冻熊的带领下品尝糖果。

I have so much fun with Pierre.

I’d like him to stay forever…

我和皮埃尔玩得很开心。

我想让他永远留下来…

But everyone knows that French dinosaurs like Pierre

only get to stay in people’s bathtubs for the summer.

So, when the leaves start to fall off the trees,

it’s time for Pierre to pack up his suitcase.

Before he goes, we have a delicious picnic with plenty of stinky cheese –

Pierre’s favourite!

但是每个人都知道，

像皮埃尔这样的法国恐龙只能在夏天呆在人们的浴缸里。

所以，当树叶开始从树上落下来的时候，

就是皮埃尔收拾行李的时候了。

Then we say goodbye,

promising to write often.

Pierre says that he will be back very soon…
