这几天，在网上冲浪的时候刷到一组巨仙的照片。 好家伙，美得我直接从床上弹起来！
拍摄这组照片的摄影师是来自俄罗斯的 Anastasiya Dobrovolskaya，她的作品灵感大多来源于童话故事的场景。“美女与野兽”的搭配，不愧是战斗民族，还真的什么动物都敢靠近啊
不过，如果你以为Ana照片里美女，都是“天生仙女”，那就大错特错。作为摄影师，Ana看到过太多“不完美”女性在镜头前的不自信。为此，她成立了一个项目叫 Different Beauty（不一样的美）。旨意给那些身体上有缺陷的人拍照，并且费用全免。为了告诉大家要对自己的美丽充满自信，不一样的你也很美！
她的照片受到了认可，但同时，也有许多争议。这么近距离的接触野生动物，大家觉得这就是在伤害它们......

controversy n. 争议
讲解：这是名词形式，还有个常见的形容词是 controversial.
例句1：Last year Ana was ranked among the 90 best portrait painters in the world, but her work has sparkedcontroversiesabout the use of animals in her fascinating images.
去年，安娜被评为世界 90 名最佳肖像画家之一，但她的作品引发了关于她在那些精彩照片中使用动物的争议。

tame v. 驯服
讲解：这个词很有名的一个用法就是在小王子里，他驯服那只狐狸，if the little prince tames the fox, they will need each other, and each will become unique and special to the other.
例句：People are wondering how Ana manages totamenatural wild animals before photographing them.
大家想知道Ana是怎么在拍照前驯服这些野生动物的。

in captivity 圈养
讲解：这个词的意思是 the state of being kept in a place, such as a prison or a cage.
例句：Actually, many of these animals were born and raised in protective national parks orin captivity.
其实很多动物都是在国家保护公园中出生长大的，或者是圈养长大的。

rescue v. 拯救，救援
讲解：这个词可以做名词也可以做动词，在这里是个动词。
例句：Some wererescuedby their owners and, being unable to return to their own natural habitat, they have been adopted by loving families who have allowed them to have a dignified life.
有些动物被主人救回来，由于无法返回自己的自然栖息地，它们被充满爱心的家庭收养，让它们过上了有尊严的生活。

contrasting adj. 差异特别大的
diversity n. 多样性
例句：It's a picture showing three women holding three foxes of different colors. The models in the photo mirror the shades of the three foxes with their owncontrastinghair color and clothing, highlighting thediversityfound in both people and nature.
三个女人抱着三只不同颜色的狐狸。照片中的模特以对比鲜明的发色和服装反映了三只狐狸的色调，突出了人与自然的多样性。

vitiligo /ˌvɪtə'laɪgo/ n. 白癜风
讲解：这是一种皮肤疾病。

讲解：平常我们常说的内在美可以是 inner beauty，也可以用这个 internal beauty，对应的外在美就是 external beauty。
