“又糊又渣，热搜第一”，你知道这说的谁吗？

前阵子，脱口秀演员杨波出轨事件闹得沸沸扬扬。你可能不看脱口秀，但我不允许大家错过这场buff叠满的出轨大戏！

在被爆出轨女大学生后，杨波发了一篇小作文公开宣战第三者。短暂消停两天后他隐藏了微博账号，突然消失。消失前，他在全网见证下来了一出“我自杀了，我复活了”的戏码。先是下午15点发了一条定时遗书，声称自己备受煎熬准备了断。结果一个小时后，他在朋友圈否认自杀了，说头孢喝酒根本死不了。并向公众道歉，说明自己会退出微博。

这波把网友耍得团团转，毫无底线的浪费社会资源，又引得众人破口大骂。很多网友调侃，已经分不清是脱口秀还是表演节目。

01.

uproar n. 怨愤，公众不满

讲解：这个词就表示 a situation in which there is a lot of public criticism and angry argument about sth that sb has said or done.

例句：Following theuproar, the actor admitted they had kissed.

因为公众的不满，这个演员承认了他们接吻了。

02.

mistress n. 情妇

inappropriate relationship 不正当关系

loose woman 不检点的女人

讲解：如果要用英文表示搞破鞋，对应的可以用 loose woman 这个表达。

例句：He went even further, saying, “She knew she would be themistressbut still did it. She even forced me to agree to be in thisinappropriate relationship.”

他还说：“她知道自己是第三者，但仍然这样做了。她甚至强迫我同意维持这种不适当的关系。”

03.

shift the blame 推卸责任，甩锅

讲解：blame 表示责怪，指责，常见的搭配有 put the blame on sb, 让某人来担责，get the blame, 被指责。

例句1：This move was heavily criticized by netizens, who pointed out that he should be holding himself responsible for the cheating scandal instead of trying toshift the blameon the woman.

这一举动遭到网友的严厉批评，他们指出，他应该为出轨丑闻承担责任，而不是试图将责任归咎于女方。

例句2：Why do I alwaysget the blamefor everything that goes wrong?

backlash n. 强烈抵制

suicide note 遗书

讲解：public backlash 表示公众的集体反对，强烈抵制，a strong negative reaction by a large number of people, for example to sth that has recently changed in society，比如说抵制女权就是 a backlash against feminism.

例句：Following thepublic backlash, Yang posted asuicidenote on Weibo where he spoke about his poor mental state and claimed that he was “harassed and threatened by the woman for the past 3 months.”

公众强烈反对后，杨在微博上发布了遗书，讲述了自己精神状态不佳的情况，并声称自己“在过去的三个月里受到该女子的骚扰和威胁”。

harass v. 骚扰

讲解：名词是 harassment.

例句：He has complained of beingharassedby the police.

他投诉受到警方侵扰。

take his own life 自杀

safe and sound 安然无恙

讲解：take one's own life 就是 commit suicide 自杀这个意思。

例句：The post understandably worried netizens, with many thinking the actor has resorted totaking his own lifeamidst the scandal. Thankfully, everyone would later find out that Yang Bo was indeedsafe and soundafter he posted an update on Weibo.

可以理解的是，这篇帖子引起了网民的担忧，许多人认为这位演员在丑闻中选择了自杀。值得庆幸的是，后来杨波发了微博后，大家才知道他安然无恙。
