本周我们来学习与游乐场相关的词汇。
1. roller coaster /ˈroʊlɚˌkoʊstɚ/
n. 过山车
搭配：ride a roller coaster
e.g. Riding a roller coaster can be a thrilling experience for those who love adventure.
e.g. She screamed with excitement as the roller coaster plunged down the steep hill.
n. 许多急转突变;忽好忽坏
常见搭配：an emotional roller coaster 情绪起伏
e.g. I experienced an emotional roller coaster as the plot unfolded.
e.g. Watching the dramatic movie was like riding an emotional roller coaster.
2. haunted /'hɔːntɪd/
adj. 房屋等有鬼魂出没的，闹鬼的
e.g. The haunted house was filled with spooky decorations and eerie sound effects.
e.g. Screams and laughter echoed through the haunted house as the guests encountered various scares.
补充：spooky/eerie adj. 阴森森的，诡异的
echo：v.（声音）回响，回荡
haunt v. 不愉快的事萦绕在心头，困扰某人
e.g. The great fear that still haunts her.
e.g. If you ignore the problem, it will come back to haunt you.
n. 常去的地方
e.g. The restaurant is my one of my favorite haunts.
3. vendor /'vendə/
n. 小贩;摊贩
e.g. The town is lined with stalls and shops with vendors selling food and clothing.
e.g. She haggled with the vendor over the price of the antique vase.

haggle with 与…讨价还价
4. adrenaline /ə'drenəlin,-li:n/
n. 肾上腺素;一阵兴奋；激动
常见搭配：a rush/surge of adrenaline 一阵激动
adrenaline-inducing 使人肾上腺素飙升的
e.g. Pirate Ship is an adrenaline-inducing activity.
e.g. I felt a rush of adrenaline when riding roller coasters.
e.g. The haunted house had everyone’s adrenaline pumping.
