Required Skills and Experience

Education and certification:‍‍

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Business or Business Administration (finance, marketing, international business, etc.), Economics, Public Policy, or a related field is required.‍

  • A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in or with private sector entities, preferred working in the areas of strategy consulting, investment banking, resource mobilization, business development and/or partnerships is required.

  • At least 2 years of work experience in conducting industry/market research and analysis and designing strategies to advance partnerships and mobilize resources, especially with the private sector and through innovative financing mechanisms is required.‍

  • At least 1 year of work experience in designing/structuring, coordinating and supporting multi-stakeholder engagements and convenings to advance strategic partnerships is required/desired.‍

  • Experience working in the fields of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls is an advantage.‍‍

  • Experience in managing private sector relations in China is an advantage.‍‍

  • Good analytical and writing skills in English are required.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Fluency in Chinese is an added advantage.
