任婷个展“漫山遍野是今天”将于8月10日晚8:10在浅美术馆开幕。这是艺术家与浅美术馆合作的第二次个展，将展出艺术家最新创作的八幅油画、七十九幅水彩画、一件影像作品。
Ren Ting's solo exhibition "The Day Is Today" will open on August 10 at Qian Art Museum. This is the artist's second solo exhibition in collaboration with Qian Art Museum. The exhibition displays the artist's latest 8 oil paintings, 79 watercolors, and 1video work.

Preface
这些画，都是和海岛生活相关的，时间中的风景。作为一名潜水员，我热爱大海，也喜爱着潜水员的生活。我曾在长滩岛的一家潜店里看到一句话：“We dive not to escape life.But for life not to escape us.（我们潜水不是为了逃离生活，而是为了让生活不远离我们。）”这家潜店将这句话印制在店里的墙面上，在最显著的位置。
我想这个句子里的“潜水”一词，更换成其它任何运动项目都是成立的，比如攀岩、滑板、冲浪、打羽毛球等等；更换成“绘画”或者“做雕塑”也是恰当的。因为运动也好，艺术也罢，都应当在我们的生活里。
我是在乡村里长大的。童年时，终日在山野间漫游，抬头看白云，低头抓草虫，那时还未曾读到“悠然见南山”，等长大后读到，才渐渐明白，原来人在尘世间与悠然相逢，竟也需要机缘。我见过银河星辰闪耀，那是比天地还广阔还悠远的，漫长时空中的风景；我住进银河星辰里，如同我住进一朵云、一棵椰子树里一样。如果我们都能住进今天，住进每一个当下里，那该多好。“漫山遍野是今天”，便是我住进这片椰林里时发出的感叹。

These paintings are scenery relevant to my life on the island and beautiful moments in time. As a diver, I love the ocean and my life for diving. I once saw a quote in a diving shop in Boracay: “We dive not to escape life, But for life not to escape us”. This quote was painted on the wall in this shop, in the most conspicuous place.
I think the word “dive” can be replaced by any sport and it always makes sense, such as, “climb”, ”skateboard”, ”surf” and “play badminton”, even can be “paint” or “sculpt”. Because whether it’s sport or art, they belong to our lives.
I grew up in the countryside. When I was a kid, I was roaming in the mountains and fields, with clouds floating overhead and insects jumping beside my leg. At that time, I didn’t know what it meant to be “my gaze upon the Southern Mountain rests”. When I read it again as a grown-up, I gradually realized that earthly people come across “rest” not by coincidence but by predestination. I’ve seen the stars and Milky Way shining which is far more boundless than the sky or land themselves. Those are landscapes through time and space. I would live in the Milky Way Star as I would live in a coconut tree. If we could all live in TODAY, live in every MOMENT, that would be so incredible. “The mountains and fields are living in TODAY” is how I felt when I lived in that coconut woods.
