Our client, the nation’s largest member-owned healthcare performance improvement company, selected us to design their new office at the historic Old Post Office. This space is designed with a “City and Parks” theme, incorporating a variety of building material finishes, extensive greenery, and millwork elements. Two commissioned murals by local artists pay homage to the culture and fabric of the Chicago community. The space is teeming with a variety of work and leisure spaces to ensure the best possible employee experience. The grand Town Hall space is a light-filled multipurpose area overlooking the Chicago River.

In the public lounge area, there is a group of comfortable sofas with soft fabrics and colors that complement the surrounding green plants. Next to the sofa is a wooden coffee table, whose unique texture shows the charm of nature. The walls are decorated with park-themed paintings, making people feel as if they are in a quiet park. In the corner, there is a small bookshelf filled with books related to health care and urban culture for employees to read during their breaks.

在公共休息区，摆放着一组舒适的沙发，沙发的面料质感柔软，颜色与周边的绿色植物相互映衬。沙发旁是木质的茶几，其独特的纹理展现出自然的魅力。墙壁上挂着以公园为主题的装饰画，让人仿佛置身于宁静的公园之中。角落处，设置了一个小型的书架，摆满了与医疗保健和城市文化相关的书籍，供员工在休息时翻阅。

The design of the conference room is simple and elegant. The conference table is made of thick wood with a smooth and solid surface. The surrounding chairs are ergonomically designed to ensure comfort for long meetings. A large display screen is embedded on the wall, which is convenient for remote meetings and presentations. On one side of the room is a floor-to-ceiling window, and the sunlight from the window shines in, illuminating the entire space. On the other wall, there is a mural depicting the urban structure of Chicago created by a local artist, adding a touch of cultural color to the serious meeting atmosphere.

会议室的设计简洁大方，会议桌由厚实的木材制成，表面光滑而坚固。周围的椅子采用人体工学设计，确保长时间会议的舒适感。墙壁上镶嵌着大型的显示屏，方便进行远程会议和展示资料。房间的一侧是一面落地窗，窗外的阳光洒进来，照亮了整个空间。而在另一面墙上，悬挂着一幅由当地艺术家创作的描绘芝加哥城市结构的壁画，为严肃的会议氛围增添了一抹文化的色彩。

The layout of the work area is reasonable and open, and each work station is equipped with sufficient lighting facilities. The desktop is made of environmentally friendly composite materials, which is both durable and beautiful. In order to increase the vitality of the work area, a pot of green plants is placed every few work stations. In the center of the work area, a shared information area is set up, consisting of wooden bookshelves and display racks, which makes it convenient for employees to find and share information.

工作区的布局合理且开放，每个工作位都配备了充足的照明设施。桌面采用环保的复合材料，既耐用又美观。为了增加工作区的生机，每隔几个工作位就会摆放一盆绿色植物。而在工作区的中央，设置了一个共享的资料区，由木质的书架和展示架组成，方便员工查找和分享资料。

The recreation area is equipped with billiard tables, table tennis tables and other entertainment facilities, and the floor is made of non-slip tiles. Comfortable lounge chairs and small tables are placed around, where employees can relax. A unique chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and the light is soft and warm. On one side of the wall is a mural with the theme of city night view, creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere.

休闲娱乐区配备了台球桌、乒乓球桌等娱乐设施，地面采用了防滑的地砖。周围摆放着舒适的休闲椅和小桌子，员工可以在这里放松身心。天花板上悬挂着造型独特的吊灯，灯光柔和而温馨。一侧的墙壁上是一幅以城市夜景为主题的壁画，营造出浪漫而轻松的氛围。
