International High School of LWS welcomed a grand opening ceremony. This ceremony not only marks the beginning of the new semester, but also symbolizes that students are about to embark on a new learning journey.

方先生致辞

方先生致辞时分享了“千金难买早知道”这句话，强调通过学习和创新看到别人尚未看到的，价值就超过千金。他提到很多孩子清楚知道自己大学要念什么专业，但对未来几十年的看法却很少有同学能说出来，这也是LWS美高希望帮助同学们的地方。

During his speech, Mr. Fang shared the saying 'It's hard to buy a thousand pieces of gold, you know it early', emphasizing that by learning and innovating to see what others haven't seen yet, the value exceeds that of a thousand pieces of gold. He mentioned that many children know exactly what major they want to study in college, but few classmates can express their views on the next few decades. This is also where LWS hopes to help students.

孟校长致辞

孟校长在开学典礼上发表了热情洋溢的致辞，首先对新学期的开始表示热烈祝贺，并对同学们提出一些富有建设性的想法和要求。孟校长强调了校园安全的重要性和纪律问题，希望同学们能够自觉遵守学校的各项规定，共同营造一个和谐、有序的学习环境。

Principal Meng delivered a passionate speech at the opening ceremony, first expressing warm congratulations on the beginning of the new semester and putting forward some constructive ideas and requirements to the students. Principal Meng emphasized the importance of campus safety and disciplinary issues, hoping that students can consciously abide by the school's regulations and jointly create a harmonious and orderly learning environment.

沈警官的反诈课堂

马桥派出所的沈警官为同学们上了一堂反诈预警的课程，让同学们对诈骗行为有了更深入的了解，也掌握了一些实用的防范技巧。相信在今后的生活中，他们会更加注重保护自己的信息安全，远离诈骗陷阱，共同营造一个安全、和谐的社会环境。

Officer Shen from Maqiao Police Station gave students a course on anti fraud warning, which gave them a deeper understanding of fraudulent behavior and practical prevention techniques. I believe that in their future lives, they will pay more attention to protecting their information security, staying away from fraud traps, and jointly creating a safe and harmonious social environment.

In the introduction of the Maqiao teacher team, all the teachers appeared one after another, demonstrating their outstanding teaching strength. New student representative Ivan Wang expressed his expectations for the new semester, as he recently achieved 5 gold and 2 silver medals in the World Scholar's Cup. In addition to academic achievements, Ivan also has a passion for music, reading, and watching various sports events, which enrich his extracurricular life. For the upcoming learning journey, he hopes to learn and grow together with his classmates, and achieve more in the future.

At the opening ceremony, various awards were presented, including AP Capstone, AP Scholar, and students who won in various competitions such as IVEY, HOSA, BBO, International Psychology Olympiad, "Physics Cup" American High School Physics Assessment, as well as school level outstanding students, outstanding student union cadres, and excellent dormitories.
