《往生论》公元五世纪,印度世亲晚年依据《无量寿经》作《无量寿经优婆提舍愿生偈》,公元531年北魏菩提流支译成汉文,随后昙鸾于梁大通中期注释《往生论注》并大弘净土宗;在净土教义中提出的较为特殊见解,其中重视他力本愿,开创称名法门。作者一开始便依据龙树《十住毗婆沙》求阿毗跋致二道中的易行道加以发挥,而以阿弥陀如来为增上缘。本书很早就流传于海外,日本庆安年间公元704—707年就已有了刻本,净土宗诸家都重视它,注解很多;
《往生论注》中提到:释迦牟尼佛涅槃时,留下的碎身舍利变成了摩尼宝珠。此珠遇寒则温,遇热则凉,遇暗则明。此摩尼珠能放射万丈光芒,普照须弥山四大部洲的所有贫苦众生,能解除他们的贫困和痛苦;
此尊释迦牟尼坐像,单佛螺髻,细密贴体的U形纹通肩袈裟,孩童般的脸庞,双手结禅定印,掌中一枚圆球形摩尼宝珠,这些特征都明确的指向秣菟罗艺术,此种单佛螺髻的表现出现在亚洲大多数区域,中爪哇,甘肃麦积山,大理石窟,日本等等,属于早期秣菟罗艺术传播的典型特征之一,由此可见,早期佛教经典伴随的艺术形态为广大区域所接受;

"Theory of Rebirth" in the fifth century AD, Indian relatives in their later years based on the "Infinite Life Sutra" wrote "Infinite Life Sutra Upati She Wishing to Live". Annotate "The Commentary on Rebirth" and promote the Pure Land sect; put forward a special view in the Pure Land teachings, which attaches importance to the original vow of other forces and creates the method of naming. From the beginning, the author seeks to develop the easy path in the two paths of Abhibazhi according to Nagarjuna's "Ten Dwelling Viposa", and uses Amitabha Tathagata as the upper edge. This book has been circulated overseas for a long time. In the Qing'an period of Japan, there was a printed version from 704 to 707 AD. The Pure Land sects all valued it, and there are many annotations;
It is mentioned in the "Notes on Rebirth": When Sakyamuni Buddha Nirvana, the broken body relics left behind became Mani orbs. This bead is warm when it is cold, cool when it is hot, and bright when it is dark. This mani bead can radiate ten thousand feet of light, illuminating all poor beings on the four continents of Sumeru Mountain, and can relieve their poverty and pain;
This sitting statue of Sakyamuni has a single Buddha conch, a finely fitted U-shaped shoulder-length cassock, a childlike face, two hands in the meditation seal, and a spherical Mani orb in the palm. These features clearly point to moss. Doula art, the performance of this single Buddha snail bun appeared in most of Asia, Central Java, Maiji Mountain in Gansu, Marble Caves, Japan, etc., belonged to one of the typical characteristics of the early spread of Modoura art, it can be seen from this , the art forms accompanied by early Buddhist classics are accepted by a wide range of regions;
