12月10日，华虹无锡集成电路研发和制造基地二期项目12英寸生产线建成投片大会举行。自2018年3月启动建设以来，华虹无锡基地历经两次基建、两轮扩产，总投资额超过百亿美元。二期项目聚焦车规级芯片制造，建设月产能8.3万片的12英寸特色工艺生产线。自去年6月开工以来，参建单位高标准、高效率推进项目建设，较原计划提前100天建成，创造了业界产线建设的新标杆。
On Dec 10, Huahong Group's integrated circuit R&D and manufacturing base in WND celebrated the completion and commissioning of its second phase project, which included an automotive-grade chip production line capable of producing 83,000 12-inch chips per month.
Since the commencement of construction in March 2018, Huahong's WND base has undergone two rounds of infrastructure construction and two rounds of production expansion, with a total investment exceeding $10 billion.
Construction on the second phase project, which began in June 2023, was completed 100 days ahead of schedule thanks to the construction team's commitment to high standards and efficiency. This achievement has set a new industry benchmark for production line construction.
12月9日，美国通用电气医疗集团高层来访无锡高新区，探讨进一步扩大在锡投资、建设高端医疗器械产业生态圈事宜。通用电气医疗系统（中国）有限公司于1996年成立，今年10月，美国通用电气医疗超声大中华区总部项目签约落地无锡高新区，将打造超声业务高端医疗器械生态圈、创新中心、服务中心和客户体验中心。
On Dec 9, GE HealthCare executives visited WND to discuss expanding investments and developing a high-end medical device ecosystem. GE Medical Systems China was founded in WND in 1996 and the ultrasound Greater China HQ was launched in the district this October to serve as a hub for innovation, services, and customer experiences in ultrasound technology.
日前，法国《费加罗报》以“东方音乐之城”为题专版聚焦无锡音乐文化，梅村二胡也大篇幅出现在报道中，对于推广二胡这一中国传统乐器在法国乃至全球的知名度具有重要意义。
