近日，马斯克裁员风波波及到了美国国家核安全管理局（NNSA）。

综合央视新闻与多家外媒报道，2月13日，特朗普政府在毫无预告的情况下，“砍”掉了美国国家核安全管理局的近350名员工。有网友戏称，这是裁员裁到了大动脉。

Three US officials who spoke to The Associated Press said up to 350 employees at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) were abruptly laid off on Feb 13, with some losing access to email before they’d learned they were fired, only to try to enter their offices the next day to find they were locked out.

美媒称，政府效率部人员在实施裁员前，并不知道核安全局是干什么的，也不管这些员工的实际工作内容是什么。因此他们结束了所有还在试用期的员工的雇佣合同——无论资历如何、工作经验多么丰富，只要是加入在两年之内就算试用期。也就是说这两年该机构新雇佣的专家都被开除了。

All of the people fired were probationary employees, meaning they had worked in their jobs for only one to two years. This included some fresh out of graduate school, as well as experienced officials switching to new assignments. The firings were part of hundreds of termination notices sent to workers at the Department of Energy, the parent organization of the nuclear agency. It appears that DOGE made the decision based purely on their status, without knowing what the workers actually did.

受打击最严重的办公室之一是位于得克萨斯州阿马里洛附近的潘特克斯工厂，裁员约30%。这些员工负责重新组装核弹头，这是核武器企业最敏感的工作之一，需要最高级别的权限。

One of the hardest hit offices was the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas, which saw about 30% of the cuts. Those employees work on reassembling warheads, one of the most sensitive jobs across the nuclear weapons enterprise, with the highest levels of clearance.

当地时间2月14日，美国能源部已暂停解雇数百名在美国核武器储备关键机构工作的员工。15日，美国国家核安全管理局在一封发给员工的电子邮件中表示，该机构正在撤销13日对部分试用期员工发布的解雇信，并希望将这些员工恢复原职。

但是，由于13日被解雇员工的联邦政府电子邮件账户现已无法访问，国家核安全管理局也没有这些被解雇员工的最新联系方式，因此没有办法与他们取得联系。

有专家警告称，政府效率部的盲目削减成本将带来很大风险。

The Trump administration has halted the firings of hundreds of federal employees who were tasked with working on the nation’s nuclear weapons programs. NNSA officials on Feb 14 attempted to notify some employees who had been let go the day before that they are now due to be reinstated — but they struggled to find them because they didn't have their new contact information. Experts cautioning that DOGE's blind cost cutting will put communities at risk.
