活动当天，学校特别邀请了澳大利亚大使馆教育与研究公使戴瑷伶女士（Ms Alison Dell）上午10:00为本次展会致开幕词，并向来宾介绍澳大利亚高等教育对于中国留学生的优势。澳大利亚贸易投资委员会（Austrade）及多家政府机构的代表也将出席此次活动，为有意申请澳大利亚大学的学生和家长提供了难得的现场咨询机会，可直接获取第一手信息。

戴瑷伶是澳大利亚驻华大使馆负责教育与研究事务的公使衔参赞。2022年2月至2024年7月，她在澳大利亚教育部国际司担任副司长一职，主管国际合作事务。她曾领导跨境教育工作 组，负责管理澳大利亚参与G20峰会教育相关事务，在印度和印度尼西亚担任G20主席国期 间与两国开展密切合作。她曾负责管理澳大利亚参与亚太经合组织（APEC）的教育相关事务。她还曾负责加强澳大利亚政府和行业在市场推广领域的接触，推动与印度尼西亚、越南和泰国开展跨境教育合作。她的职责还曾包括监督多个项目，以确保国际学生在澳大利亚获得最佳留学体验， 在全球范围内寻找创新型跨境教育项目的机会，并与联合国教科文组织公约的合作伙伴开展交流合作，推进联合国教科文组织公约框架下的学历学位资历认可工作。她致力于与中国政府教育行政部门和院校建立联系，开展并推进两国教育交流与合作，实现互利共赢。戴瑷伶还曾从事能源政策、工业和供应链方面的工作。

This month Haileybury Tianjin, is pleased to host the inaugural Australian Universities Expo in Tianjin in partnership with CITIC Bank at the Tianjin Global Financial Center from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on Saturday 29 March.

Opening the event at 10.00am on Saturday 29 March, Ms Alison Dell, Minister-Counsellor (Education and Research) from the Australian Embassy will speak about the key advantages of an Australian education for international students. Together with representatives from Austrade and various government agencies this is a wonderful opportunity for parents and students considering Australian universities to gather firsthand up-to-date information.

Alison Dell

Minister-Counsellor (Education and Research)

Australian Department of Education / Australian Embassy, Beijing

Alison Dell is the Minister-Counsellor (Education and Research) at the Australian Embassy in Beijing. Prior to this, she was the Assistant Secretary, Partnerships Branch in the Department of Education from February 2022 to July 2024. Amongst her achievements have been leading a TNEfocused working group, managing Australia’s education-related participation through the G20, building closer relations with India and Indonesia in their host years, and managing Australia’s participation in APEC. Alison has also worked on market-specific engagement with the Australian sector on transnational education for Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. Alison’s role also involved overseeing diverse projects to ensure international students have the best experience possible in Australia, looking at opportunities for innovative TNE globally and working with partners under UNESCO conventions to progress recognition of qualifications under UNESCO Conventions. She is focused on building relationships with the Chinese government to progress our mutual interests across all aspects of international education. Alison has previously worked on energy policy and industry and supply chains.
