据媒体报道，四川遂宁船山区某单位公职人员孙先生，近几日利用下班后的业余时间送外卖，引起不少网友讨论。

A civil servant in Suining city, Sichuan province, has drawn attention online after taking up food delivery as a part-time job during his off-duty hours.

报道称，孙先生从消防员转业后，在遂宁船山区某单位工作。其所在单位下发了公职人员可以做副业的相关通知后，他向单位提交“从事副业”的相关申请。经单位批准同意后，他开始下班后兼职送外卖。

A former firefighter, surnamed Sun, now working at a public institution in Chuanshan district, began delivering food after receiving approval from his employer. According to news reports, his workplace recently issued a notice allowing civil servants to engage in side jobs under certain conditions. After submitting a formal application, Sun was granted permission to work as a part-time delivery rider.

“送外卖感觉像打游戏，接任务、出发、完成任务、得到奖励。”孙先生说，他通常晚上8点左右开始接单，平均每天送三个小时左右，一天能赚100多元。

"Delivering food feels like playing a game, you accept an order, head out, complete the task, and earn a reward," Sun said. He typically starts taking orders around 8 pm, working for about three hours each night and earning over 100 yuan ($14) per day.

关于该公职人员送外卖一事，7月23日，遂宁市纪委工作人员回应极目新闻记者：“我们这边已经了解到这个事情，后续情况建议以官方通报为准”。

An officer from the Suining Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision said, "We are aware of the situation and suggest referring to official announcements for further details."

根据此前公开资料显示，机关事业单位职工能不能做“副业”，需根据具体法律法规、单位规定及副业性质综合判断，在一定条件下可以从事的副业就包含体力劳动，如跑滴滴、送外卖、出租房产等，需利用业余时间且不影响工作，且需提前向单位书面报备并获批准。

Under current regulations, civil servants and public institution employees in China may take on side jobs, including gig work such as ride-hailing, food delivery, or property rentals, provided they do not interfere with their primary duties. However, they must obtain prior written approval from their employers and ensure the side work is conducted strictly during personal time.
