Major cultural institutions in Beijing, including the Palace Museum and the National Museum of China, announced emergency closures for Tuesday in response to the city's highest-level flood control emergency response.

Both the Palace Museum and the National Museum of China said in their announcement that all pre-booked tickets would be automatically refunded through the original payment channels.

北京全市所有景区关闭

28日，根据《北京市防汛应急预案》《北京市旅游防汛专项分指挥部防汛应急预案》规定，北京市旅游防汛分指挥部采取以下应对措施：

▲关闭全市所有景区，并做好受威胁游客疏散避险；

▲全市乡村民宿、露营地暂停营业，及时劝返入住游客或将游客转移到安全避险场所；

▲暂停旅行社旅游活动，并尽到安全告知提示义务；

▲暂停有组织的文旅活动（含各类演出活动）和文化艺术类培训活动；

▲酒店要提示提醒入住客人非必要不外出或减少外出，做好相关服务保障。

▲各单位要及时将关闭和暂停信息向社会公告。

The Beijing municipal bureau of culture and tourism on Monday has ordered the closure of all city scenic spots, suspension of rural homestays and campsites, halting of all organized tour group activities and cultural events (including performances and training), and instructions for hotels to advise guests against unnecessary travel.

目前，国家博物馆、故宫博物院、中国考古博物馆、恭王府博物馆等均已宣布，29日临时闭馆一天，可为观众办理退票和改签工作；如已预约购票，票款将由原渠道退回。

Additional prominent venues confirming closure for Tuesday include the China Museum of Archaeology and Prince Kung's Palace Museum, all assuring visitors of automatic refund processing for pre-purchased tickets.
