铁轨已经很久没有震颤过了。锈迹像藤蔓顺着枕木攀爬，把钢轨缠成两条暗红的蛇。蓼花却在此处茂盛起来，在碎石缝里挺出细长的茎，穗子沉沉地弯向铁轨间的积水——那是去年秋雨留下的印记，如今成了一长串碎镜，拼接着天空的各个角落。

蓼花的倒影是迟疑的。它们从真实的花穗垂落，触到水面时却变得更朦胧，仿佛在镜中世界又开了一遍。水很浅，刚够承接这些颠倒的紫红，也刚好能映出整片天空。就在这片浅浅的镜城里，雁阵出现了。
先是几个黑点，然后拉成断续的墨线，最后在积水的倒影中，完整地呈现出“人”字的阵型。它们飞得那样高，在地面只能仰望；可在这铁轨间的积水中，雁群却如此贴近——翅膀的每一次振动，都在水纹里放大成缓慢的、优雅的弧光。蓼花的倒影与雁阵的倒影在此相逢：一个向上举着紫穗，一个向南划着墨痕；一个是从泥土长向天空的渴望，一个是从天空投向水镜的航迹。
