日前，荷方在社交媒体发表涉格陵兰岛言论，称“必须在北约框架内继续携手合作，加强北极地区的安全，应对来自中国等国的威胁”。我馆发言人评论如下：
中方一贯主张按照《联合国宪章》宗旨和原则处理国与国之间的关系。中国从来不是北极地区的安全威胁。当前形势下，欧洲国家非常清楚北极地区真正的安全威胁来自哪里。所谓的“中国威胁”毫无根据，纯属无中生有、自欺欺人，中方坚决反对任何为了自身目的炒作“中国威胁论”的言论和行为。
Spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands: the So-Called “China Threat” is Entirely Fabricated
Recently, the Netherlands side posted remarks on social media concerning Greenland, claiming that “it is important to work together within NATO to strengthen security in the Arctic region and counter threats from China.” The spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands comments as follows:
China consistently advocates that relations between states should be handled in accordance with the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. China has never posed a security threat to the Arctic region. Under the current circumstances, European countries are well aware of where the real security challenge in the Arctic comes from. The so-called “China threat” is completely groundless, entirely fabricated, and self-deceptive. China firmly opposes any remarks or actions that deliberately hype the “China threat” for self-serving purposes.
