Saturday's NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Rockingham Speedway ended with a breakthrough victory. William Sawalich, driving the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, captured his first career win in the series.

The victory came in Sawalich's 42nd career start, snapping JR Motorsports' five-race winning streak. It was a JGR 1-2 finish, with teammate Brandon Jones settling for second place.

「It means everything,」Sawalich said post-race. 「Honestly, tough year last year and tough start to the year this year. These boys mean everything to me.」 He added that his Supra was 「on rails today」 after dominating the final stage in clean air.

Corey Day had appeared poised for victory after leading from the green flag and sweeping both stages. But a two-tire call during a late caution shuffled him back to seventh for the final restart, derailing his bid.

Justin Allgaier finished third and extended his championship lead to 126 points over Jesse Love, who recovered from a loose wheel issue to finish sixth. Meanwhile, Cleetus McFarland's double-duty day ended in disappointment—32nd in his O'Reilly debut after a fifth-place ARCA East result earlier Saturday.
