随着当前美以对伊朗的战争进入第六周，许多评论都聚焦于这场冲突对全球油价以及通过霍尔木兹海峡的碳氢化合物出口流量的潜在影响。本次讲座将对海湾国家及其在全球经济中的地位进行更深入的分析，探讨过去十年间海湾国家经济如何实现多元化，从而深度参与包括化肥和化学品在内的其他一系列关键商品领域。从这一视角出发，讲座将探讨这场战争持续下去会给全球南方其他国家带来的极其严重的后果。
As the current US-Israeli war against Iran enters its sixth week, much commentary has focused on the potential impact of the conflict on the global oil price and the flow of hydrocarbon exports through the Strait of Hormuz. This lecture provides a deeper analysis of the Gulf states and their place in the global economy, exploring how the Gulf's economies have diversified over the last decade to become centrally involved in a range of other critical commodities, including fertilizers and chemicals. From this perspective, the lecture will explore the very serious consequences that a continuation of the war might have on other countries in the Global South.
