陈持平教授的创作，以「古诗今画」为核，以色彩与笔墨为舟，载着观者穿行于古典诗词的意境与当代艺术的表达之间。他的丙烯画与书法作品，是一场场跨越时空的对话，让千年诗意在笔端重焕生机。
四季与山河的诗意重构
在《樱吹雪》中，淡紫天幕下，粉白花瓣如星雨坠落，垂柳的枝桠与起舞的身影交融，将春日樱花的浪漫与怅惘凝于一帧；《再见樱花梦》里，峡谷间的溪流被染成鎏金色，群鸟掠过水面，像是一场对春日盛景的温柔告别，又藏着对过往的眷恋；而《桃花源记》则以浓绿的崖壁、垂落的飞瀑与一叶扁舟，还原了陶渊明笔下的世外桃源，青碧的河水、盛放的山花，将「豁然开朗」的意境铺陈得淋漓尽致。
他的自然题材作品，从不只是描摹景物，更是借色彩与构图传递情绪。《再见樱花梦》中深黑的崖壁与暖黄的溪流形成强烈对比，仿佛黄昏时分的峡谷，飞鸟的白翅为沉郁的色调注入灵动；《桃花源记》则以冷调的青绿与瀑布的白，营造出与世隔绝的静谧，一叶小舟的剪影，恰是「初入桃源」的探索与向往。
除了山水花木，他也以画笔捕捉生命的温度。《夜枭》以漆黑为底，白棕相间的仓鸮立于蛛网之间，一点猩红点缀其间，冷硬的线条与柔和的羽毛质感碰撞，在暗夜中生出一丝温柔的张力，将自然生灵的神秘与灵动刻画得入木三分。
李商隐诗心的当代回响
陈持平教授承袭家学，书法作品同样流淌着古典诗意。他以狂草书写李商隐的诗句，笔势游走间，将千年的怅惘与深情化作流动的线条。
「此情可待成追忆，只是当时已惘然」，行草的缠绵笔法，恰似追忆时的断续思绪，留白与连缀间，藏着诗句里欲说还休的怅惘。
「嫦娥应悔偷灵药，碧海青天夜夜心」，笔墨的奔放与诗句的清冷形成张力，每一道转折都似嫦娥独对碧海时的叹息。
「春心莫共花争发，一寸相思一寸灰」，黑底白墨的书写，让诗句的热烈与凄清更显突出，笔画的顿挫间，是相思燃尽的苍凉与决绝。
一场跨越时空的美学共鸣
对陈持平教授而言，创作是心与境的映照，是诗与画的共生。他的丙烯画，以浓烈大胆的色彩、自由奔放的笔触，打破了传统山水的范式，却又始终扎根于古典诗词的意境；他的书法，以狂草的形式重构诗句，让笔墨的节奏与诗意的韵律共振。

嫦娥应悔偷灵药，碧海青天夜夜心
Moon Goddess should regret ever having stolen the elixir ,and feel lonely
night after night by looking over the azure sea and the blue sky.
春蚕到死丝方尽 ，蜡炬成灰泪始干。
The spring silkworm spins till death by running out of the yearning thread,and the candle torch burns into ash by drying all of the tearing drops.
相见时难别亦难，东风无力百花残。
It’s hard for us to meet just as it’s hard for us to part.The eastern wind languishes just as numerous flowers wither .
身无彩凤双飞翼,心有灵犀一点通。
Although I don’t have the two wings of a colored phoenix ,I still can easily communicate with you by my sensitive heart.
