秘鲁太平洋大学中国与亚太研究中心研究员

奥马尔·纳雷亚(Omar Narrea)是来自秘鲁的学者,长期从事“一带一路”倡议下拉丁美洲基础设施发展的研究。他曾对中国、东南亚、欧洲和拉丁美洲的“一带一路”项目开展了广泛的实地调研。近年来,其研究主要聚焦三个领域:钱凯港、亚马逊地区的经济走廊以及秘鲁的铜生产。

他现任秘鲁太平洋大学中国与亚太研究中心研究员,并创立和领导了“钱凯观察站”。他拥有伦敦大学学院大型基础设施项目理学硕士学位(志奋领奖学金获得者),以及伦敦政治经济学院社会政策理学硕士学位。他在秘鲁圣马尔科斯国立大学的博士研究聚焦过去二十年铜生产背后的地质、技术与社会政治因素,重点分析在秘鲁南部的中国、美国和英国矿业企业的运作情况。他曾在中国、马来西亚、巴西、瑞典和美国的学术会议及政策研讨会上展示其研究成果。

奥马尔·纳雷亚于2026年4月22日-2026年6月5日在复旦发展研究院从事访问研究。

Omar Narrea is a Peruvian researcher specialized in Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) infrastructure in Latin America. He has conducted extensive fieldwork at BRI projects across China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Latin America. His research in recent years has focused on three principal areas: the Chancay Port, economic corridors in the Amazon region, and copper production in Peru.

He is a researcher at the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies at Universidad del Pacífico, where he founded and led the Observatory of Chancay. He holds an MSc in Mega Infrastructure Projects from University College London (Chevening Scholar) and an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics. His doctoral research at San Marcos National University examines the geological, technological, and socio-political factors underpinning copper production over the past two decades, with a focus on Chinese, American, and British mining operations in southern Peru. He has presented his research at academic conferences and policy workshops in China, Malaysia, Brazil, Sweden, and the United States.

Omar Narrea will be a visiting scholar at Fudan Development Institute from April 22, 2026 to June 5, 2026.
