本周我们学习和开学相关的词汇
1. catch up on something
补上/赶上之前落下的东西
e.g. She stayed up late to catch up on her studies.
e.g.I spent the whole morning catching up on work.
补充：stay up late 熬夜
2. the back-to-school blues
the blues 忧郁，低落的情绪
the-back-to-school blues因为假期结束后要开学产生的低落情绪
e.g. I always get the back-to-school blues after a long summer break.
e.g.After two months of sleeping in and relaxing, I definitely have the back-to-school blues.
补充：sleep in 睡懒觉
类似表达：the post-holiday blues
e.g. The post-holiday blues can make it difficult to get back into a routine.
e.g. I'm still suffering from the post-holiday blues.
补充： get back into a routine 恢复规律生活
3. jitters/ˈdʒɪtəz/
n.紧张不安、忐忑、心里发慌的感觉
搭配：have/get the jitters
first-day jitters开学第一天的紧张感
e.g. Many students experience first-day jitters when they start at a new school.
e.g.Once I get past the first-day jitters, I can get back into study mode.
4. get back into the swing of things
重新适应日常节奏;恢复正常状态
e.g. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things now that school has started.
e.g.After a long summer break, it took me a few days to get back into the swing of things.
类似表达：get back on track 回到正轨;恢复正常进度
get back into study mode 指收心学习
e.g. I have been watching TV all summer. I really need to get back into study mode.
e.g.I need to get back on track with my studies after the summer break.
e.g.I fell behind during the holiday, so I need to get back on track.

5. settle into
逐渐适应并进入一种新的生活/环境/状态
e.g.It took me a few weeks to settle into my new school.
e.g.It took me some time to settle into my new routine.
