成军50年！U2第16张专辑收录Dolly Parton绝唱|bono|dolly|mv|乐队|单曲|成军|歌曲|深圳演唱会

摇滚名人堂传奇U2宣布，将于今年晚些时候发行第16张录音室专辑《Carnaval De Luz》，以此纪念乐队成军50周年。这是他们九年来首张全新完整专辑。

一首《Silencio》，把舞厅炸开了

周四，乐队公布了这张专辑的详情，同时放出了第二支单曲《Silencio》的MV。这支MV拍摄于今年早些时候的墨西哥城，由墨西哥裔美国双人组Cliqua执导。画面里，乐队在一间墨西哥舞厅中演出，歌词以黑红两色的浓稠质感泼洒在屏幕上，节奏混乱而高能。

在这首鼓点密集、贝斯跳动的歌曲中，Bono唱道：“There's a quiet where a baby doesn't cry/ There's a hush where a mother might sigh/ Oh Mary mama angel offer her a choice。”Cliqua同样执导了专辑首支单曲《Street of Dreams》的MV，该曲已于七月发行。

“到处都是”录出来的专辑

一份新闻稿提到，这张专辑是“到处都是”录制的，由长期合作者Jacknife Lee制作。新闻稿将其描述为一组“探索灵性、友谊、自由，以及在黑暗侵蚀力量面前坚韧不屈等主题”的歌曲。

专辑的合作阵容包括：另一位长期合作者、制作人Brian Eno参与了《Go (Carnaval De Luz)》和《The Greatest Show on Earth》的联合创作与合成器演奏；Martin Garrix参与了《Glorify》的联合创作；又一位老搭档Daniel Lanois在《Torn》中演奏了踏板钢弦吉他；Ryan Tedder则为《Silencio》提供了额外制作。

最后一段歌声，来自Dolly Parton

专辑的最后一首歌《Torn》收录了已故乡村音乐偶像Dolly Parton最后的演唱。这首歌由乐队、Parton以及Snow Patrol的Johnny McDaid共同创作，被描述为“一首温柔的乡村歌曲，讲述破碎的家庭纽带，却有着更广泛的共鸣”。

专辑中还收录了与Rosalía在《The Mirror Maker》中的合作。这张U2的第16张录音室专辑，是2017年《Songs of Experience》的后续之作。今年早些时候，乐队还发行了两张EP：《Days of Ash》和《Easter Lily》。

主唱Bono在一份声明中说：“Roll up, roll up, roll up! Bring your purple socks, your broken hearts, your rose-tinted naivety … oh be amazed in the hall of mirrors. There will be loud guitars, deep bass, some ecstatic rhythms and, yes, some silver tears will make an appearance!”

他接着说道：“'Cause in the near distance just outside our carnival of light there are all kinds of creatures… the same imagination that brings us our creativity can also bring us monsters. So we make the drums louder. We build a bigger fire. We make our stories wilder and funnier. We make the melodies sweeter and the songs, they better shine, because if the world is in darkness we better not be.”

吉他手The Edge补充道：“It's a messy, provocative, sacred collection of songs — and features the first-ever use of flat-wound strings on a U2 recording. Just saying.”
