10月11日，雅思考试停考风波仍在继续。多位本应在今日参加考试的考生告诉新黄河记者，11日的雅思考试同样被取消。

另有山东等地的考生向新黄河记者证实，近日考试取消，目前只能抓紧挑选就近考点重新报考。有考生对新黄河记者表示，自己选择的是其他省份的心仪考点，除了考试取消打乱原有计划之外，由此产生的机酒费用也是一笔不小的消耗。一位上海考生向新黄河记者反映，机酒问题是一方面，此外后续计划也因此受到影响。该考生吐槽，雅思备考数月，考试状态、心态十分关键，临时取消让人情绪受很大影响。
11日上午，新黄河记者就此事拨打教育部教育考试院雅思考试报名网站咨询电话。工作人员表示，考试院目前掌握的情况是考试确实取消了，相关费用也已经退回到考生报考账户。对于考生们反映的异地赴考产生机酒赔偿诉求不由我们这里负责，相关事宜可以联系考试主办方核实。
A staff member at the Ministry of Education's IELTS registration hotline confirmed the cancellation and said fees had been refunded to candidates' accounts. Compensation for travel and hotel costs was not their responsibility, and candidates should contact the test organizer, the staff member said.
记者随后联系到英国文化教育协会（BC）考试服务中心。工作人员证实，10号、11号、12号雅思考试已取消，多地考生受到波及，原因为系统技术故障。其还表示，该情形属于不可抗力因素，只能退还考试费，考生因赴考产生的机酒等额外损失不予补偿。
The British Council test service center confirmed that tests on October 10, 11, and 12 were canceled due to a technical failure, calling it a force majeure event. Only test fees would be refunded, with no compensation for additional travel or accommodation losses.
10月10日，多位网友反映，正在候考时突然收到“BC教育咨询”短信通知。短信内容显示2026年10月10日的雅思考试因技术原因取消。
据潇湘晨报报道，兰州考生任同学称，10日早晨她刚准备出门考试就收到了取消通知，起初考点老师表示对该情况并不知情，经核实后确认取消考试。考试费1990元将于一个工作日退回，考生需自行重新报考。
“我考完口语出来，告诉我取消了，成绩作废，我人都懵了。”珠海考生介绍，考场工作人员是临时接到总部通知，目前仅会退还考试费。同考场有考生崩溃大哭，称自己有待确认的offer急需语言成绩，因处于申请旺季，考位难求，珠海剩余考位已排至11月份。
Candidates received text messages from "BC Education Consulting" on October 10 saying the day's test was canceled for technical reasons. Some were notified just as they were about to leave home, while others learned after finishing the speaking section that their scores would be voided. Test center staff said they were informed by headquarters at short notice.
With October being a peak application season, some candidates urgently needing language scores for conditional offers found remaining seats in Zhuhai booked until November. Some candidates who had traveled to other cities for the test were also affected.
在社交平台上，还有不少网友称，由于本地考位紧张，自己专门到异地参加考试，却被临时告知考试取消。
据《正在新闻》消息，浙江科技大学考点工作人员称，接到的通知是全国考试都因技术原因被取消。工作人员表示，她今天也在考试现场，此前从未遇到该情况，接到通知时也很懵。
河北工业大学考点工作人员称，接到通知是英国那边的雅思考试系统出现技术问题，影响到全国的考点，会影响到今明两天的考试。
10日，雅思报名网站客服回应称：接到通知因技术原因取消今日考试，考试报名费会在一个工作日内退回考生账户。
Staff at test centers in Zhejiang and Hebei said the nationwide cancellation stemmed from a technical problem with the IELTS system in the UK and would affect tests that day and the next. The IELTS registration website's customer service said refunds would be processed within one business day and candidates would need to rebook on their own.
