4月5日，演员黄晓明发文致歉：

Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming issued a public apology on Sunday after admitting he violated traffic laws by allowing his nine-year-old son to ride a bicycle on the road.

大家好，我是黄晓明。今天我必须为自己的疏忽郑重道歉。

昨日正值假期，我和小朋友也趁着春光户外骑行，本意是享受大自然，却在网友地提示下才知道，自己忽略了《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法实施条例》中“驾驶自行车须年满12周岁”的规定，对此我深感愧疚。作为父亲，我本该以身作则，时刻把孩子的安全与遵守法规放在首位。

借此机会，也想和所有家长朋友们共勉：孩子学会骑车不等于可以上路，交通安全容不得半分疏忽，遵守法规才是对孩子最好的保护。再次为我的错误向大家致歉，未来我一定会更加严谨。

刚刚我已经去交警部门接受处罚，但还在假期，工作人员建议节后过来，所以我会在上班时间再到相关交警部门接受处罚和批评教育，再次感谢大家的监督和提醒。

In a statement posted on social media, Huang said he had taken his child on an outdoor bike ride during the holiday on Saturday, intending to enjoy nature. However, after being reminded by netizens, he realized he had overlooked a key provision in China's Road Traffic Safety Law: cyclists must be at least 12 years old.

"As a father, I should have set an example and prioritized my child's safety and compliance with the law," Huang wrote. He also urged other parents to take the regulation seriously, noting that knowing how to ride does not mean a child is ready for road traffic. "Observing the law is the best protection for our children," he added.

Huang said he had already gone to the traffic police to accept a penalty, but because of the holiday, he was advised to return after the break. He promised to do so and thanked the public for their oversight.

据媒体报道，4月4日，黄晓明通过微博发布照片，照片中，他本人骑着共享单车，9岁的儿子则骑着普通儿童自行车，在人行道前击掌、合影，画面温馨自然。不过，网友对此似乎并不买账，“温馨是真的，但9岁娃不能骑车上路也是真的”。

目前，黄晓明个人微博账号已看不到该博文。

The controversy began when Huang posted photos on Saturday showing him and his son on bicycles, high-fiving in front of a crosswalk. While the images appeared warm and natural, netizens quickly pointed out that the boy, at age nine, was too young to legally ride on the road. The post has since been removed from Huang's Weibo account.
