北京天则经济研究所创始人、荣誉理事长 茅于轼

毕业于上海交通大学。1975年开始从事微观经济学研究,1979年提出择优分配原理。1984年调中国社会科学院美国研究所任副研究员、研究员。后作为访问学者赴美国任哈佛大学,担任非洲能源政策研究网顾问长达7年时间。曾受聘为澳大利亚昆士兰大学经济系高级讲师,讲授研究生班的微观经济学。曾担任亚洲开发银行注册顾问、中国环境与发展国际合作委员会能源工作组中方专家、 太平洋 经济合作委员会能源组国际顾问组成员、LEAD国际培训项目中国国家理事会成员、《China Economic Review》顾问编辑、中国能源研究会副理事长。1993年创办北京天则经济研究所,并任所长、理事长。其研究领域包括:微观经济学和环境经济学。

MAO Yushi

Standing Director, Unirule Institute of Economics

Mao Yushi graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University and later worked on the Principle of Optimal Allocation in 1979. He then worked at the Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1984. During 1986 he went to Harvard University as visiting scholar and also served as senior advisor for Asian Development Bank, Africa Energy Policy Research Network and UNDP. In 1990 he was invited by the University of Queensland, Australia, as visiting senior lecturer teaching advanced microeconomics. He founded the Unirule Institute of Economics and served as the Chairman of the Board. He was the editor for

China Economic Review . His research areas include institutional economics, energy and environmental economics, transportation, policies on economic reform and poverty alleviation.
