5月13日，自然资源部发布西藏自治区江达县玉龙铜矿资源储量核实勘查项目成果：矿区新增铜资源量131.42万吨、钼资源量10.77万吨、银资源量793吨。

至此，玉龙矿区累计查明铜资源量已达753.4万吨、钼资源量45.9万吨、银资源量3048吨，标志着青藏高原大型铜多金属资源基地建设迈上新台阶。

玉龙铜矿位于藏东三江成矿带中的玉龙斑岩铜矿带北段，是我国规模最大、经济价值最高的斑岩—矽卡岩型铜多金属矿床之一，目前年产铜金属量超15万吨。
