来自西班牙格拉纳达大学生物医学研究中心(CIBM)药理学系的Teresa Vezza、Francesca Algieri、José Garrido‐Mesa等人在两种结肠炎小鼠模型中研究了PTSO的抗炎作用:2,4-二硝基苯磺酸(DNBS)(PTSO剂量:0.01-10 mg/kg)和葡聚糖硫酸钠(DSS)(PTSO剂量:0.01-0.1 mg/kg)。PTSO(0.1-25 μM)的免疫调节作用也于体外在Caco-2和THP-1细胞中显示出来:减少了促炎介质的产生和下调了丝裂原活化蛋白激酶(MAPK)信号传导途径。该化合物通过降低不同促炎介质的表达和改善肠上皮屏障的完整性,在两种小鼠结肠炎模型中显示出了有益效果。此外,PTSO改善了在DSS诱导的结肠炎小鼠中观察到的变化的肠道微生物群组成。
