An overdraft is an amount of money that a bank lets the customer borrow for a short time to owe to the bank.

Let me give you a quick example.Say that your bill is 500 RMB, but you only have 300 RMB in the bank. So,the bank will pay the rest 200 RMB but you have to pay it back. They will charge you more money if you don't pay back the money. You will get an overdraft fee.

So it is best to not do this, because the overdraft fees will cost you more than they let you borrow!
