January 19th, Hohhot experienced the strongest snowfall in the same period in the history of nearly 30 years. According to the monitoring of Saihan District Meteorological Bureau in Hohhot, the snow fell 8.9 mm and the depth of the snow was 8 cm. Since entering January 2024, Hohhot has ushered in two snowfall weather, with a cumulative snowfall of 9.6 mm, which is the most in January in nearly 30 years.
