Celebrated Chinese writer Mo Yan on Tuesday made his debut on the Chinese lifestyle-sharing platform RedNote, posting his first video.
在视频中，莫言称：“接下来我也将在这里和大家分享我的日常。”“给大家种草我喜欢的美食、美景。”
In the clip, Mo announced, "From now on, I'll be here sharing bits of my daily life and recommending my favorite foods and beautiful places."
截至目前，账号已有57.9万粉丝，获赞61.6万。11月12日晚，莫言发布第二条博文，称：“万万没想到50万粉丝了！”“谢谢小红书的朋友们。”
在评论区，网友和莫言各种玩梗，欢乐不断。
莫言回复网友评论的余华表情包，称：“谢谢余华的夸奖，要是文明一点更好了。”
The comments section quickly became lively, filled with jokes and memes from fans. One user shared a meme featuring Yu Hua, another renowned novelist, that praised Mo but included coarse language. Mo wittily replied, "Thanks for the compliment, though it could've been more polite."
也有网友化身“放大镜”，对账号的各处细节提出问题。对于视频中的“鲁迅同款背心”，莫言幽默回应：“鲁迅穿得比我时髦。”
When others pointed out his "Lu Xun-style tank top," Mo joked, "Lu Xun dressed better than I do."

Earlier, Mo revealed at a public forum that he enjoys watching short online dramas, though he often feels regret afterward. "I tell myself it's a kind of learning," he joked, a sentiment many young internet users found relatable.
