美国总统特朗普3月1日接受英国媒体采访时称，针对伊朗的军事行动可能还将持续4周左右。

The military strike against Iran will "take four weeks — or less," US President Donald Trump said in an exclusive phone interview with Britain's Daily Mail, the newspaper reported Sunday.

就三名美国军人死于伊朗还击，特朗普在佛罗里达州海湖庄园接受英国《每日邮报》记者电话采访时称，这是他去年开始第二个任期以来首次有美军在相关行动中死亡，并称“这可能还会再发生”。

The Daily Mail said Trump "broke his silence" on the first US casualties in the conflict. Three US soldiers were killed in action and five others seriously injured as part of the military operation against Iran, the US Central Command said Sunday.

Trump acknowledged the deaths were the first casualties of his second term, the report said.

特朗普同一天接受美国全国广播公司采访时表示，美方“预料到这样的行动会有伤亡”。

"Sadly there will likely be more before it ends," he said of the possibility of more US casualties, saying that "that's the way it is."

特朗普对《每日邮报》记者表示，他仍对与伊朗方面开展更多对话持开放态度，但无法确认谈判是否会“很快”发生。接受全国广播公司采访时，他称伊朗官员有意继续与美国对话，但拒绝透露美国是否会在外交努力期间暂停空袭。

伊朗首都德黑兰时间2月28日上午，美国和以色列联手对伊朗发起大规模军事行动。伊朗随后对美国在海湾地区的军事基地和以色列发起还击，一些中东国家遭到波及。
