李健斌博士现任香港中文大学(深圳)理工学院助理教授、校长青年学者和博士生导师。本科毕业于中山大学-香港理工大学联合培养项目(师从余永耀教授),2022年获得加拿大麦吉尔大学博士学位(导师:李朝军院士),随后赴美国印第安纳大学开展博士后研究(合作导师: Jared Lewis教授)。2024年正式建组,聚焦绿色化学与合成领域前沿课题。李健斌博士以通讯作者和第一作者(含共同)身份在Nat. Catal.(1)、Chem(1)、J. Am. Chem. Soc.(1)、Nat. Commun.(3)、Angew. Chem.(4)、Acc. Chem. Res.(1)、ACS Catal.(2)、The Innovation(1)和Chem. Sci.(3)等国际主流期刊上共发表了论文30余篇,获得ChemComm Emerging Investigator(2026年)、IUPAC-Zhejiang NHU绿色化学进步奖(2025年)和IUPAC-Solvay国际青年化学家奖(2022年)。2024年建组以来,作为第一通讯作者已在Nat. Catal.、Nat. Commun.、Angew. Chem.和ACS Catal.等期刊发表多篇工作。

章兴龙博士,香港中文大学化学系助理教授。2014年获剑桥大学学士学位,2016年获牛津大学硕士学位,主修理论与计算化学,2019年获牛津大学博士学位,研究领域为计算均相催化,师从Robert S. Paton教授。在完成美国加州理工学院(Caltech,导师为Thomas F. Miller III教授)短暂的博士后研究,他于2020年10月加入新加坡A*STAR高性能计算研究所(IHPC)担任研究员。2024年10月入职港中大。研究兴趣包括计算化学自动化工具开发,过渡金属催化的碳氢键活化和不对称有机催化中的计算机理研究。迄今为止已在国际主流期刊发表51篇论文,包括(共同)通讯文章Nature (1),Nat. Catal. (2),Nat. Chem. (1),Nat. Synth. (1),Nat. Commun. (4),J. Am. Chem. Soc. (6),Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (7),Chem (1),Chem. Sci. (2),ACS Catalysis (2)等。

工作职责包括:
1. 与两位合作导师及组员共同承担重要的科研课题,完成博士后入站期间的科研任务;

薪酬及福利:
1.与香港中文大学(深圳)签订合同,享受五险一金等福利,综合待遇不低于52.5万/年,一人一议;
2.符合“广东省海外博士后人才支持项目”的博士后:综合收入不低于61.5万元/年;
3.工作时间及地点:在两校分别开展博士后研究工作及完成相应研究考核任务(原则上一半时间在香港中文大学(深圳),一半时间在香港中文大学,具体时间可由双方具体协商安排),成果和经历获两校认可;
4.导师全力支持、鼓励博士后在站期间可以负责人身份按照规定申请深港两地各级科研课题资助;
5.博士后进站,可自愿选择落户深圳市;

Postdoctoral Positions in AI for Chemistry|Prof. Jianbin Li (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen) & Prof. Xinglong Zhang (The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
Prof. Jianbin Liis currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, a Presidential Young Scholar, and a doctoral supervisor. He received his undergraduate training from the joint programme between Sun Yat-sen University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (under the supervision of Prof. Wing-Yiu Yu), and obtained his Ph.D. from McGill University in 2022 (supervised by Prof. C.-J. Li). He subsequently carried out postdoctoral research at Indiana University (with Prof. Jared Lewis). Since establishing his independent research group in 2024, his work has focused on frontier topics in green chemistry and synthetic methodology.
Prof. Li has published over 30 papers as corresponding or (co-)first author in leading journals, including Nat. Catal., Chem, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Acc. Chem. Res., ACS Catal., The Innovation, and Chem. Sci.. His honours include the ChemComm Emerging Investigator (2026), the IUPAC–Zhejiang NHU International Award for Advancements in Green Chemistry (2025), and the IUPAC–Solvay International Award for Young Chemists (2022). Since 2024, he has published multiple works as first corresponding author in Nat. Catal., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and ACS Catal..

Prof. Xinglong Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his BA from the University of Cambridge in 2014, his MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2016, and his DPhil from Oxford in 2019, where he worked on computational homogeneous catalysis under the supervision of Professor Robert S. Paton. After a short postdoctoral stay at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) with Professor Thomas F. Miller III, he joined the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) in Singapore as a Research Scientist in October 2020. He took up his position at CUHK in October 2024.
His research interests include the development of automation tools for computational chemistry, as well as computational mechanistic studies of transition-metal-catalysed C–H activation and asymmetric organocatalysis. He has published 51 papers in leading journals, including Nature (1), Nat. Catal. (2), Nat. Chem. (1), Nat. Synth. (1), Nat. Commun. (4), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (6), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (7), Chem (1), Chem. Sci. (2), and ACS Catal. (2) as corresponding authors.

Programme Description
To further strengthen collaboration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and leverage the complementary strengths of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, a joint postdoctoral training programme has been established in collaboration with the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. This initiative aims to support talent development within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
Position Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1.Hold (or be about to obtain) a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, including synthetic chemistry, theoretical/computational chemistry, or artificial intelligence;
2.Demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following areas: organic synthesis, photocatalysis, radical chemistry, theoretical/computational chemistry, or machine learning;
3.Candidates with a background inAI for Chemistryare particularly encouraged to apply;
4.Possess strong independent thinking, communication, and scientific writing skills.
Responsibilities
1.Conduct high-quality research in collaboration with both supervisors and research group members, and fulfil the agreed research objectives during the postdoctoral appointment;
2.Research output expectations will be determined jointly based on the specific research project.
Salaryand Benefits
1.Employment contract with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, including full benefits (social insurance and housing fund); total annual compensationnot less than RMB 525,000, negotiable based on qualifications;
2.Candidates eligible for the Guangdong Province Overseas Postdoctoral Talent Programme will receivenot less than RMB 615,000 per year;
3.Work will be conducted across both institutions, typically with approximately equal time spent at CUHK-Shenzhen and CUHK (subject to mutual agreement). Achievements and experience will be jointly recognised by both institutions;
4.Postdoctoral fellows may apply, as principal investigator, for research funding at various levels in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with full support from both supervisors;
5.Option to obtain Shenzhen household registration (hukou) upon appointment;
6.Additional postdoctoral housing/living subsidy ofRMB 360,000 over three yearsfor those who remain (or return) to work in Shenzhen after completion;
7.Benefits are subject to the latest governmental policies.
