近日，北京一名化妆师史某，因四年间调包退货涉嫌诈骗罪被刑拘，相关话题登上热搜。

A 28-year-old makeup artist in Beijing has been placed under criminal detention on suspicion of fraud-related offenses, after allegedly exploiting online retailers' return policies for four years by swapping new merchandise with used items. The case has drawn widespread attention on Chinese social media.

据CCTV法治在线报道，史某今年28岁，是一名化妆师。她在网上注册多个账号，利用同小区一处长期空置房屋地址下单，再花钱找跑腿帮自己取件。

According to a report by CCTV, the suspect, surnamed Shi, registered multiple online accounts and placed orders using the address of a long-vacant apartment in her residential compound. She then hired courier services to retrieve the packages.

拿到全新的衣服后，她挑选出自己需要的衣服，再将旧衣服脏衣服换进退货包裹，将外包装还原粘好。之后，她申请退货，找跑腿将调包后的包裹送回原处，等快递上门把包裹取走，坐等平台退款到账。史某一次就调包了90多件衣服，涉案2万多元。

Upon receiving the new goods, Shi would select the items she wanted, stuff old or soiled clothing back into the boxes, and meticulously reseal the packages to their original condition. She would then apply for a return and arrange for the same courier service to place the tampered parcels back at the pickup point, where delivery staff would later collect them and process the refund. In one transaction, she swapped more than 90 garments, worth over 20,000 yuan.

原来，史某曾经偶然发现，有些商家为了快速处理退货，往往不验货便直接退款，这让她萌生了贪念。

警方调查发现，2026年4月，史某先后在三家电商店铺下单了100多件衣服。收货地址全都是同小区一处长期空置房，为了掩人耳目，她还会刻意在同一时间段密集下单，当大大小小的包裹堆满空置房门口时，快递员联系不上买家，便自然地把包裹放在门口。史某正是精确计算了从通知送达到快递员上门之间的这段空档期，叫来跑腿小哥将包裹秘密转移至自己的真实住处附近，从容完成调包。

The scheme originated after Shi discovered that some merchants, in an effort to expedite return processing, often issued refunds without inspecting returned items — a loophole she decided to exploit.

Investigations show that in April 2026 alone, she ordered over 100 items from three online stores, all sent to that vacant address. She timed her orders in clusters so that when couriers couldn't reach the "recipient", they left the parcels at the door. Shi had calculated the gap between delivery and pickup, dispatching runners to move the packages to her real residence, where she completed the switches.

北京市公安局朝阳分局东坝派出所民警王嘉乐称，据史某描述，她是把包裹拆封之后，先拍照，确定拆封之前的样式，里面挑选了一部分是她需要的，把脏衣服旧衣服再塞在里面，一步步封好，封存到原先的形式，再让闪送员按照她当时取货的样式再原封不动地摆好。民警称，史某在东坝地区周边也有租房，其中一间房她租住过，知道长期没有人租住，就把商品订购到那里。

从2022年到2026年，她用同样手法多次作案，买过被子、锅、化妆品、奢侈品……目前，史某已被朝阳警方依法刑事拘留。

The police officer said Shi would photograph each package before opening it, then reseal it exactly as received and have the runner restore its original position. Authorities also learned that Shi had previously rented another unit nearby and knew the address she used had been long empty.

From 2022 to 2026, she repeated the tactic across dozens of purchases, targeting bedding, cookware, cosmetics, and even luxury goods. Shi has been formally placed under criminal detention by the Chaoyang police, and the case remains under further investigation.
