1. side hustle/ˌsaɪd ˈhʌs.əl/
副业；兼职赚钱的工作
搭配：start/build a side hustle 开始经营副业
e.g. Many young people nowadays have a side hustle to supplement their income.
e.g.Thanks to the internet, it's easier than ever to start a side hustle.
e.g.Driving for a ride-sharing app is a common side hustle among office workers.
近义：moonlighting兼职打第二份工
e.g. Many teachers moonlight as private tutors after work.
e.g.Due to the rising cost of living, some people have started moonlighting to make ends meet.
补充：make ends meet 保持收支平衡
2. on call /ˌɒn ˈkɔːl/
随时待命的，值班待命的
搭配：be on call 24/7 全天候待命的
e.g.Doctors often work long hours and have to be on call 24/7.
e.g.The IT team is on call 24/7 to deal with system failures.
e.g.Thanks to smartphones, some employees feel as though they are on call all the time.
3. get off the ground
顺利开始；启动并取得初步成功；开始运转
e.g.It took several months for the business to get off the ground.
e.g.He has a great idea, but he doesn't have enough money to get it off the ground.
搭配：get a business/ start-up/idea off the ground
e.g.Many young entrepreneurs have innovative ideas, but they often lack seed capital. Financial support from the government can help them get their businesses off the ground.
