本周我们学习和投诉相关的词汇
1. complaint /kəmˈpleɪnt/
n. 投诉，抱怨
搭配：make / withdraw a complaint 提出/撤销投诉
a complaint about something 对某事提出投诉
a complaint against someone/something 对某人/某机构提出投诉
e.g.She decided to withdraw her complaint after the company offered her a full refund.
e.g. The customer filed a complaint against the company for selling defective products.
v. complain 投诉，抱怨
e.g. Many customers complained about the high prices.
2. defective /dɪ'fektɪv/
adj.有缺陷的；有瑕疵的；有故障的
e.g. I received a defective product, so I made a complaint to the company.
e.g. The customer returned the defective item and asked for a refund.
近义词：faulty 有故障的，有问题的
e.g. The company recalled the defective products.
e.g. The money will be used to repair faulty equipment.
n. defect缺点；毛病
e.g. They examine their products for defects.
e.g. This small defect greatly reduces the diamond's value.
3. make a mountain out of a molehill
习语：把鼹鼠丘变成一座山，本意指的是小题大做；把小问题夸大
e.g. Some customers make a mountain out of a molehill and complain about every minor inconvenience.
e.g. She was only five minutes late, but he made a mountain out of a molehill about it.
近义表达：make a big deal out of something 小题大做
e.g. She made a big deal out of a minor mistake.
4. petty /ˈpeti/
adj. 微不足道的；不重要的
搭配：a petty complaint/ issue / problem 微不足道的投诉/小事
e.g. Some customers make petty complaints about minor issues.
e.g. We shouldn't waste time arguing over such a petty issue.
adj. 斤斤计较的，小气的
e.g. He's very petty and gets upset over the smallest things.
e.g.He was petty-minded and obsessed with detail.
