She opened it, curious.
“To the one who now holds Box 42— I hope you like thunderstorms, old films, and warm socks. I used to live here. I used to write letters to no one. Maybe now, they can be for someone.”

She smiled. Tucked it in her journal.
And the next week, she wrote back.
